SW9 Restaurant — Restaurant in London

First time dining at this restaurant, the design, atmosphere and food was fantastic. However, service wise, I was definitely not impressed. We ordered two lunch sushi sets, a glass of tap water and green tea. We waited approximately about 20 mins for our tea and tap water to be served, usually in restaurants they would give the beverages in less than five mins while we wait for food.

I was not happy by the fact that I had to grab the waitress' attention for it to be served. When she looked back she was very surprised as if she had just remembered. Also, other customers that ordered after us got their food before us.

I was highly unimpressed when she served our main meal, on the menu it said that it came with miso soup. People that ordered after us got the complete set, we had finished our sushi sets yet our soups has not arrived. I had to catch her attention AGAIN.

Overall, the food was great but the service needs to be polished. Other customers may feel the service was good but from my experience it was horrendous, the waitress did not even offer us hand gel while...

The portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are more than fair, especially with their set menu offers. For just £10, you get a delicious soup and a hearty main course – an unbeatable deal!

But what really sets SW9 apart are the amazing hosts. The lady and gentleman who run the shop are incredibly warm and welcoming, making every visit a delightful experience. Their hospitality is unmatched, and they always make you feel right at home.

I'm a regular here, visiting with my colleague 2-3 times a week, and we always order the same thing because it's just that good. If you're in the area, you absolutely must try this place. Highly recommended!

Always delicious and reasonable ..simple with clean interior ... If available I prefer a window seat. My only ever bad experience was quite recently when I ordered vegitable dumplings ... However the one I ate had small pieces of meat it... I asked my other half who dose eat meat and he confirmed...Didn't think it would be an issue to change them ... However the lady who served us was patronising and condescending which made me feel really uncomfortable ... Insisting the grey pink thing was carrots lol the cheek! .. anyways I couldn't believe it.. its my local spot so didn't want to create bad blood but yeah that really annoyed me. Apart from that occasion really enjoy my experience the majority...
