⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely incredible experience with Chef Giovanni!

Chef Giovanni catered my dad's 70th birthday celebration and it was nothing short of perfection. From the moment he arrived, his warmth and genuine passion for cooking shone through. He took time to chat with my dad about their shared love of cooking and even showed him his impressive knife collection, it was such a special touch that made my dad feel so valued.

The professionalism of Chef Giovanni and his team was outstanding. The service was so attentive that they wouldn't even let me get up to grab a drink! Every detail was handled with care and expertise, making this truly a 5-star experience.

One of the most thoughtful surprises was when they prepared special decaf tiramisu just for the toddlers in our group. It's these little unexpected gestures that show how much Chef Giovanni cares about making every guest feel special.

And the food... WOW! Every single course was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. Each dish left us speechless. I honestly can't fault anything about the meal and I’m still drooling thinking about the pistachio tiramisu. The beef was cooked perfectly and Chef Giovanni made sure everyone’s was cooked exactly how they wanted it, especially as there were two pregnant people in the party.

Chef Giovanni's kindness and friendly nature made him the perfect choice for such an important celebration. I'm so grateful we chose him for dad's special day, and I absolutely cannot wait to book him again for our next event. Giovanni prepared, cooked and served an absolutely delicious meal for a family gathering of fifteen, at our home. But that simple sentence is a huge understatement of what he provided.

We worked together with him, to devise the varied menu for a party that included five children and two vegetarians (one vegan).

Giovanni suggested paired wines for each course, and sourced fine ingredients from his home region in Italy, whenever possible - and all were exquisite. There wasn't a diner who was not full of praise for the quaility of food, drink and service Giovanni provided.

Absolutely nothing was too much trouble for him.

In the run up to the meal, we had multiple chats with him about the exact choices for each course, and our preferences were always enhanced by his recommendations. He kept in regular contact, to ensure that we were happy with absolutely everything about the service he provided, as we moved from commissioning him, until he left our house with our thanks, at the end of the meal.

Giovanni is a very personable man, who took pride and delight in talking us all through the menu choices we had selected and the wines to accompany them, at the table, for all to share. In short, he as a delight to work with.

We would have absolutley no hesitation in recommending Giovanni's services to anyone looking for for a chef to provide a memorable meal in their own home.

Delighted to find Giovanni! I recently hired him, on recommendation, as a private chef to cook at my home for my 50th birthday dinner for 20 guests. From our initial communication I knew that I had found the right person as despite my worries of having a fairly small kitchen with no special equipment and that I wanted dinner to be served outside, nothing was too much trouble. Very responsive, he created several menus for me to choose from and easily accommodated vegan and vegetarian guests, completely reassuring me that he would make everything work and that his main objective was, for me to have a wonderful evening which I most certainly did. Together we sourced local suppliers to provide meat from a local farm and fish that met Giovanni’s requirements. Shopping locally was important to both of us and all that I had to do was collect on the day. He wasn’t even put off with the teens that I provided as waiters and waitresses. Giovanni is so friendly, incredibly hard-working and friends are still telling me that the 3 course dinner that he produced was one of the most delicious meals they had enjoyed in a very long time ( I think the truffle he recently brought back from his holiday to Italy was the secret ingredient).
