So I booked a sauna for me and a friend but had to change the date. I didn’t see anywhere on the website to change the date so I emailed the sauna. Instead of changing the date for me. I got an email from the manager suggesting I download the app or go into my account. So I tried again, no facility to change the date. So I went there and asked the manager to help change the date, again she suggested I download the app. After much discussion and persuasion she agreed to change the date (or so I thought), I return on the new date only to be told that only one of us was booked in. At one she said “I don’t know how to explain this in any other way only to say there is only person booked in not two”. I reminded her that I called in and asked her to book for next but she was borderline rude. This whole took about 5/7min away from our sauna time. At no point was there any acknowledgement of the inconvenience the manager’s caused. There were about 10/12 people there, 2 saunas and while there are 3 cold baths only 1 had water in it. Do you had to wait in a line to get a cold plunge. Between the insipid staff and the poor facilities I won’t be going back there. I recommend the place....
Read moreMy partner and I went for the Social Sauna session - and it was absolutely wonderful. The space is very relaxing, a lot of thought has clearly gone into curating a space that provides comfort and very chill vibes. Sauna and cold baths are top quality - and everyone was really respectful of each other, making sure to rotate the baths and the sauna well. I liked the chatty vibe and felt like I could speak with people around me who also wanted to chat - but those who didn’t could also do their own thing. Nikki and Benji were really friendly and clearly care a lot about everyone’s experience. The music was lovely, and Benji did a great orientation at the start to help us know where everything was - which was really helpful for me as a neurodivergent person who can get easily overwhelmed in new spaces. I also appreciated the explicit notice not to comment on others bodies and to make this a space where everyone felt welcome and comfortable.Chai tea afterwards was delicious! Thank you...
Read moreI found out about this place a week ago and I've already been twice. Itis a much needed oasis of self care in the busy heart of Peckham. The owners are warm, kind, friendly and welcoming and really set the tone for the whole place. I felt at ease straight away and I think others did too because i've had more chats (in spa voice) with strangers in London in the 3 hours I've spent there than in 20+ years in London (only a slight exaggeration). I've tried the Social and Essential sessions and both are great in different ways. The Essential feels like the session I would love to have at the end of every work day, like they do in some countries instead of hitting the pub. The Social feels like properly slowing down. I plan to make both regular features.
It's beautifully clean, the sauna is properly hot, there are ice baths and an ambient temperature bath and showers. Everything you need and all thoughtfully laid out. Can't...
