TL; DR = Flavourful ramen but the spicy one is deadly levels of spice. To contrast the usual lighter broth Tonkotsu ramen, I opted to try the Geki Kara (the spicy ramen with extra hot warnings) and it definitely delivered on the spice. THIS IS ONLY FOR SPICE FANS. I normally get Medium from a certain cheeky chicken restaurant (that I will not name) and have Hot sauce on the side. This ramen goes way beyond that level of heat. Regardless, it was a flavour bomb worth the pain. If you like some spice then I recommend going with a non-spicy ramen and add the optional chilli oil yourself. The highlight at Tonkotsu is always the gooey egg so I had to get a whole additional one. I always get an addition egg. No exceptions. The pork is a close second. This Peckham branch was a delight to dine in. Would definitely return again if I am in the area and in mood for ramen.

Had a great and refreshing experience at Tonkotsu Peckham! Tried their special 2-for-£12 cocktail menu – loved the Cherry Blossoms Martini (non-alcoholic, sweet with a creative touch) and the Japanese Gin Martini with pineapple juice – perfect summer vibes 🍸🍍 The Chilli Ketchup Wings (£5) were crispy, crunchy, and tender – so satisfying! Also loved the Seasonal Chilled Ramen with cherry tomatoes and ponzu – light, tangy, and full of flavor. Big shout-out to Ella for her amazing service – so caring and thoughtful! She even suggested serving the non-alcoholic drink first with the wings, followed by the alcoholic one. Made the whole experience even better 💯 Highly recommend for great food, drinks, and genuinely lovely service!

The homemade noodle was cooked into perfection. The crispy prawn is nice and has added a different texture in the ramen. The broth is rich and flavourful the service was also quick. The place is small but cosy. I find it a bit pricey for a bowl of ramen and the cherry blossom drink is also expensive for a tonic water with sweet syrup. Overall it's good but not good enough to pay almost £18 (including 12.5% service charge) for a ramen and a drink. I have tried Hannah near Westminster and that was really delicious. Pho, or wagamama or shoryu is almost as the same range with Hannah but a lot cheaper. Tonkotsu should make the price a little reasonable based on the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tonkotsu Peckham, and I am have to share the outstanding experience provided by two remarkable members of the staff: Shak and Jade!

From the moment we arrived, Shak greeted us with a warm smile and promptly guided us to our table.

Throughout the evening, they demonstrated an exceptional level of attentiveness and professionalism.

Shak kindly explained the menu in a timely fashion, offering insightful recommendations that perfectly catered to our tastes. His knowledge of the menu and genuine enthusiasm for the dishes set the tone for a memorable dining experience.

Our orders were taken efficiently, and the timing of our food was impeccably coordinated.

In addition, Shak was always nearby, ensuring our glasses were never empty and checking in with us just the right amount. It was evident that he took great pride in his work, as every interaction was handled with care and precision.

I must also commend Jade for her exceptional service! Not only has she assisted me and my family during a busy moment when our table needed attention, she did so with a calm and professional demeanor.

As a returning customer, I can honestly say that she exhibited kindness and efficiency, seamlessly supporting the team and ensuring all guests felt valued and well-cared-for. She is friendly and makes everyone smile! She’s an asset to your company.

The teamwork between all of your colleagues was evident and added to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant. Their dedication to providing excellent service was truly impressive, making our visit a delightful experience that we will not soon forget.

In conclusion, I highly recommend Tonkotsu Peckham for always making me feel at home! I look forward to...

We booked for eat out to help out but unfortunately weren’t very comfortable with the (lack of) safety measures. We did end up quickly eating one course, but had considered leaving before ordering. There are screens between the tables but all the tables are in use (none out of use to help distancing, as in other restaurants) and the space is small so we were very close to other patrons. The staff were wearing masks when serving but unfortunately not when behind the counter, which is only a few feet from some of the tables. This meant that they were very frequently touching their masks to adjust them or put them back on. They then didn’t wash hands before bringing our plates out. It would be safer to not wear masks at all than to do this. The staff are clearly working hard in a stressful environment. Tonkotsu bosses need to accept they’re going to have to close some tables for better distancing, and consider what they need to provide for their staff to enable them to feel safe. If servers are being made to wear masks and are not physically comfortable, they need to be given the option not to wear them rather than have to unsafely remove or...

We use to order via Deliveroo. The ramen is nice but I am taking off stars because of the awful customer service. After more than an hour of waiting, we had to call to see if there was anything wrong as the app kept chosing another rider. We had to call the restaurant to ask if they knew what was going on. A man told us the rider took the wrong order, as it was a very long time of waiting, we understood, that can happen, and we kindly ask him if he could cancel it as they still haven't cooked our order. He agreed but after 30 min, nothing was cancelled and the app was still strying to find a new rider, bothering people for nothing. We had to call in total 4 different times, the same man saying that he would cancel the order in 10min but never did and irrespectfully hang up. After 2h of wait and I am not exagerrating, we had to call Deliveroo so they would call him directly so he can cancel on his side, this way riders would not be bothered and we could have our refund. As we said on the phone, we understand you are busy and dealing with the lot of orders, but do not lie saying you would do it in 10 minutes while we were...
