I recently visited the Heavenly Desserts branch in Tooting Bec after quite some time, and I am so glad I did. I came with a friend, having personally recommended this particular branch based on my previous experiences. I was not disappointed.
From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed and looked after by a lovely staff member named Fatima. I must say, Fatima’s customer service was truly outstanding. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing short of perfect.
I have specific dietary needs and had a few questions regarding what was available on the menu. Fatima took the time to patiently go through all the options with me. She was kind, understanding and incredibly helpful. She explained everything in a calm and friendly manner, and even repeated things when needed, which I really appreciated.
What stood out the most was how approachable, polite and down-to-earth she was. She was not only professional but also very knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations and alternatives based on our preferences. It was clear that she is well-trained and has excellent people skills. She knew exactly how to respond to customer needs and make them feel at ease.
Fatima was organised, dedicated and genuinely cared about our comfort and overall experience. She carried out her role with enthusiasm and made our visit feel special from start to finish. Her warm smile and friendly nature made the atmosphere even more enjoyable.
The desserts and milkshake we ordered were absolutely delicious, as expected from Heavenly Desserts. The quality, presentation and taste were spot on, and it truly added to the overall experience.
Fatima is a true asset to this branch and to the brand as a whole. Staff like her are rare to come by. She deserves recognition for the amazing work she does, and I truly hope her efforts are appreciated by management. She made our evening so enjoyable and memorable.
To put it simply, Fatima is without question one of the best members of staff I have ever come across at any dessert restaurant. She is an absolute asset to this particular branch and I truly believe she brings tremendous value to the franchise as a whole. Staff like her do not just serve food, they create positive experiences that stay with customers long after they leave. If there is any recognition or reward system in place for outstanding staff performance, I sincerely hope that Fatima is given the appreciation she so clearly deserves. She deserves a raise, she deserves recognition, and most of all she deserves to know that her hard work and kind attitude are noticed and deeply valued by customers like myself.

The only thing I would recommend is to have a more mature senior person on the floor as the staff were all under 25, having a responsible older person around always makes customers comfortable and always helps with mixups.
Long story short the kind gentlemen took the order but I’m not sure if we or the staff took the order down incorrectly but one item was incorrect, I raised the issue with the gentlemen who took the order and he was very scared that the management would take the mistake out of his wages or he was fearful that the management would penalise him for his mistake which any assistant can do.
In the end he exchanged the desert for the correct one but being me I didn’t like the fact he would get his wages docked for £10, so when my family left I paid him for the mistake so he doesn’t get his wages docked or him getting told off.
I’d strongly advise the management to be more flexible with their staff for them to be more flexible with the customer as this makes a flawless impression for the end user.
The manager or supervisor at the time should check the toilets as it was very dirty also, it had a check sheet and was signed but it definitely was not maintained.
One toilet was out of service also.
When we entered the place it’s beautiful no word of a doubt but look under the table and it was dirty, the place was not even busy when we went there.
If you want to keep this place open and running put a responsible person on site and you’ll see the difference.
Food was not as I would expect, the waffles are dry when they should be moist to an extent they seemed burned to be honest, everything else seemed fine.
