I had the pleasure of working with Thames Luxury Charters for the 11th year running, to produce my annual boat party for Notting Hill Carnival over the summer bank holiday wekend. This year, we were more ambitious than in previous years and held 2 back to back boat rides on board the largest party boat in London - the Dixie Queen! I can’t say enough good things about my experience of working with the team at Thames Luxury! Everything ran extremely smoothly, and I couldn’t be happier with the team. They were incredibly accommodating this year, especially when we faced an unexpected challenge with over 50 guests arriving as the boat was leaving. Captain Nick stepped up and arranged a second docking at Greenwich Pier, allowing everyone to take the Uber boat service to reach us. This solution was a hit, and I’m so grateful to Nick and Carol for making it happen!

The energy on both cruises was fantastic, and everything ran incident-free as usual. There’s even some friendly debate about which event was better—though I secretly think Boat 2 takes the crown!

A big shoutout to the security team, especially Nick, who did an outstanding job keeping order throughout the day. He was not only effective but also very pleasant and approachable.

Lilly and Harvey were incredible! They truly understand the essence of our events and were super accommodating to every request. Thames Luxury needs to do whatever it takes to keep them on board for future events!

We chose Thames Luxury Charters for our wedding reception in November 2022, and it was truly the best decision we made. From start to finish, their service was absolutely outstanding, and their attention to detail exceeded all expectations.

The planning process was seamless thanks to the friendly and helpful team, who were always ready to answer questions and accommodate our vision. On the day, every aspect of the reception ran smoothly, allowing us to enjoy a completely carefree celebration.

Our sit-down afternoon tea was beautifully presented, and the table settings were exactly as I had envisioned—elegant and thoughtfully arranged. The staff, from the wait team to the bar staff, were not only professional but also warm and attentive, ensuring our guests felt looked after at all times.

The evening disco with the DJ was a fantastic way to end the celebration. The setting aboard the vessel added a magical touch, creating a unique and unforgettable experience for everyone.

We cannot recommend Thames Luxury Charters highly enough. They made our wedding reception everything we dreamed of and more. If you’re looking for a first-class service with meticulous attention to detail, look no further!

What a Pleasure! From start to finish Plamena was amazing in sorting out food, pre ordered drinks, and entertainment. When announcing to our firm that this year's Xmas party was on a boat, there was a mixed bag of reactions. Great was most, but other had concerns. 'How do I get off?', 'its going to be freezing!', 'i get sea sick'.

Let me reassure you, we arranged pier stops throughout the evening so people could get trains home easily, the boat was so warm we had to open the doors, and no one was sea sick!

The bar staff were so much fun! And when the requests for shots came in they checked in with me to check budgets. Of course we just said yes, and the shots started flowing. The even found the Tia Maria for 'baby guinesses'. Absolute stars!

I was kept up to date with the bar bill, and when realising that pre purchased drinks weren't being drunk, Lily and Harvey got ice buckets and put the prepaid drinks all over top deck. We were over on prepaid drinks but they kept them safe and chilled for pick up a few days later.

Overall, the whole event went swimmingly and the amount of 'thank yous' and 'great venue' emails and comments I received from colleagues still hasn't stopped.
