Brought tickets for a show aimed at 2-5yr olds. My 2.5yr old feel asleep just before arriving. Fast asleep. I was really disappointed to discover no leniency in these scenarios. Anyone with a toddler knows you can never completely tell what they’ll do each day and I would have thought a company regularly working closely with this age group would be set up to be able to be as flexible as possible. Especially when the tickets aren’t exactly cheap (£10 child, £16 adult. £26 for a 50min show). It becomes too expensive a gamble. I’ve never risked it before and don’t think I will again. I’ll wait until she’s much older to bring her back. It’s a real shame because I’m keen to introduce my daughter to theatre and I know this company put on very interesting children’s shows as well as the venue being a...

Unicorn Theatre is very good modern theatre. And staff are very well trained and get used to dealing with small children. Access is good and safe , 5 mins walk from London Bridge station ( walk towards Tower Bridge). I have not visited as much as I wished to, because unfortunately there is not much shows I am interested in or my daughter is interested in. It is a shame. But I can see there is some workshops available with a show, as long as you book early enough to get the place for workshop... It looks like all the shows are originally written ( because I never heard of the shows before most of the time for this place), I feel that the theme is a bit too serious and does not sound very much fun ( too...

We went to watch Othello for a family day out and we enjoyed the show. However the seats that we allocated were restricted and I was informed of that upon booking the tickets (by phone), when I asked what is meant by resticted I was informed that it U shape style seating but I was reassured that I will be able to have a good view, but I was not informed that the theatre has 2 levels and we will sit on the upper level where we have to literally sit on þhe edge of the seat to see the play! Having said that the lower ground had plenty of free space. I was disappointed with lack of information and having to get my child to stand up to have a better view. Make sure whete you will be seated...

Went with family for a Sunday matinee BSL/Relaxed performance of The Bolds, in the Weston theatre. Having been to several relaxed performances in the West End in 1000+ seater halls, this was a wonderful change with the cozy setting. Our seats in row B centre had the performers up close; all of us felt much more immersed into the show than in the big theatres. Theatre staff were very helpful, with an introductory explanation of adaptations and an access assistant available throughout. The sound and lighting were perfect.

We managed to see Pig Heart Boy, a Malorie Blackman adaptation, and what a fantastic production it was. My daughter had read the book and seen the film, so it was great to add the play to the list. The theatre is a nice intimate size, but finding the seats in the D shaped area wasn't easy. They are essentially benches with numbers that arent easy to see. There is plenty of legroom and because of the bench style seating, plenty of seating space and sitting second row from the front gave us a perfect view.

3rd time visiting the Unicorn Theatre! It's brilliant and always has programmes suitable for kids from 3 years old upwards. Centrally located with only a 5min walk from London bridge Station(headed towards tower bridge). Love it there. Not too big like other London theatres but takes nothing away from the experience. Our latest visit was to see The Odyssey which we highly recommend. Ticket prices are pretty decent too for London theatre!
