Amazing to say the least.

SERVICE

I came here with my partner and family relative for an atmospheric lounge and got exactly that. We asked to first dine in and then move outside for Shisha, and the hostess Sahbina (I believe that was her name?) made our wishes come true! She was very charismatic and sweet. She sat us down to a table for our best interests and left Junaid (our waiter) to take care of us for the rest of the stay.

I can’t help but be appreciative of every staff member there! They were all so polite and sweet with us! Service was amazing from start to finish! Extremely attentive and professional.

FOOD

For starters, we got crispy spiced shrimps and crispy calamari (topped of with a show of smokiness), and oh my gosh the shrimps were DELICIOUS!!! They were so juicy and meaty I was taken aback. The calamari were pretty good but not as good as the shrimps. Being a big fan of seafood, I always order calamari if it’s on the menu to get a taste of the restaurant’s palette. We then go 3x wagyu sirloin steaks, they did NOT disappoint AT ALL. the knife was sliding down into the plate without any force, and the meat was so juicy and tender I was left speechless. Must mention that I ordered mushroom sauce to top it of as it’s the best friend of steaks in my culinary knowledge, along with skin on fries and their side salad, which the table wasn’t a big fan off their veggies haha.

For mocktails (PS. This is a halal restaurant, no alcoholic beverages are served. Which was a bummer) we first got a Dakari (topped off with a show of bubbles) and an Amaretti Sour. The Dakari was sour and sweet. My taste buds were delighted by the harmony between the refreshing flavour and the choice of food. The Amaretti Sour was sweet and creamy, not sour at all, just pure smoothness.

The bill came with chocolates which was super cute and unique but we didn’t eat them (diet haha)

ATMOSPHERE

We then moved outside, and Junaid kindly brought our belongings and drinks out for us. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the river Thames, and view of the city of London. We choice of music was very emulsifying with the dining experience, and then our shisha peach flavoured came alongside we more drinks we ordered which was InLove with coco (I definitely was!). The smoothness left by the coconut flavour and a tangy taste was beautiful. In the section outside we had a waiter (I didn’t get his name) but we was extremely attentive with us and polite, credits to him! The shisha was smooth you don’t even feel it coming ahahah. We was outside for quite a while, we shared the shisha between 3 and it wasn’t anywhere near finished.

Overall do I recommend this place? YES. Would I go again? 100% I think everyone should try this place at least once in your lifetime if you come or live in London. Don’t miss out of this place,...

I had booked this for my birthday, the security door man at the front check the Names list as soon as we arrived he was very nice. He kept checking and couldn’t find my name. I showed him that I have a confirmation for today so he went and spoke to the staff and asked me to proceed to the reception desk where they could help me. unfortunately when I got there they told me I changed my own booking and I turned up on the wrong day and the lady at the counter there was three of them the youngest one I don’t know whether she was a manager of some sort harshly and quite loudly said no You changed it and you called us and we changed it for a Sunday not a Saturday . I told her I wouldn’t do that because it’s my birthday so she checked the system. She then told me this must be your number. Did you not call from this number and she announce the number which clearly was not my phone number when checking the booking number was made with . Turns out it’s not my telephone number and somebody mixed up the bookings from there team . I didn’t get an apology. I was put sitting on the two seaters by the door facing the door not even inside the restaurant, so I made a further complaint if possible they can put us inside the restaurant Which then they moved us but I had to make a point that they made mistake and I’m not happy my birthday was ruined the whole evening and even if the food was nice and the service was great it just ruined the whole mood . We even had a magician on our table, but still it just was not a good feeling when you start evening quite sour ,atmosphere was nice . They ladie in our section was excellent controlling the service food was nice we played it safe and ordered mix shish and iskender it was nice starters bao buns and tacos lovely flavours… but for me the whole experience was damaged by the attitude of the reception lady her tone and unapologetic reaction. In normal case you would expect them to exceed and make you feel more comfortable and being more apologetic and at least put you somewhere nice to sit to make up for the inconvenience . The decor was lovely for photos the smoke mock tails taste a little like soap I think that’s the edible liquid to make the bubble and smoke I wouldn’t recommend. This is just my experience. Someone else’s might be a lot better, but for me this is very mediocre. I could have had the food in one of my local restaurants .Iskender had bread croutons instead of pita bread not much sauce, not much flavour at all and made with kofte. The mix shish was good, nice simple nothing wow Best part of the night was the view Beautiful view of London the restaurant location was...

Unfortunately, my recent visit to the restaurant was quite disappointing, though I want to acknowledge the professionalism of the staff who assisted us.

I initially called the restaurant to reserve a table and spoke with a staff member named Andrada. She informed me that they were only accepting walk-ins that day, possibly due to a low number of expected guests. However, it would have been much more professional if she had clearly explained the policy or mentioned the minimum group size required for a reservation. When I asked about availability, she mentioned the restaurant wasn’t very busy, so we should be fine, but she couldn’t guarantee a table. This left me feeling unsure, especially since I was traveling two hours just to get there.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Andrada, who was courteous and professional, and made sure we were comfortable. She was very helpful and attentive throughout. Our server, Hussain, also provided excellent service. As it was our first time there, he guided us through the menu and gave great recommendations. His professionalism and friendly attitude really stood out.

Sadly, the food did not meet expectations. I ordered chicken wings with coca rice, but the dish had a strong, unpleasant smell similar to rotten fish. As someone who is highly allergic to fish, this was extremely concerning and made me feel nauseous. I double checked to see if others nearby were eating fish, but they weren’t, so the smell was definitely coming from my food.

I went to the restroom to try to vomit but was shocked by the poor hygiene. One stall had urine on the seat and floor, and the toilet hadn’t been flushed. The other wasn’t much better. I ended up not being able to vomit and just went back to the table.

Even though I wasn’t feeling well, my friend wanted to try the dessert, and I didn’t want to ruin his experience. I ordered something based on Hussain’s recommendation, but it was overwhelmingly strong with cocoa powder. That, combined with how I was already feeling, made it impossible to enjoy.

I ended up spending £144 and felt like my day was completely wasted. The food and hygiene standards were very poor, but I have to give full credit to Andrada and Hussain for their professionalism and kindness — both...

𝓒𝓞𝓒𝓞 𝓖𝓻𝓲𝓵𝓵 & 𝓛𝓸𝓾𝓷𝓰𝓮 🤩🔥 My weekend was elevated by a brunch experience @Coco Restaurants that surpassed all expectations. Nestled with picturesque views of Tower Bridge and the riverside, this place serves not only delectable breakfast and brunch dishes but also impeccable customer service. Whether seated indoors or outside on their COCO terrace, the ambience, perfect decor, and surroundings of COCO Grill & Lounge make it the ideal spot for a relaxing meal. Watching boats float by Tower Bridge while sipping on a cappuccino was a unique and delightful experience. This spot is a must-visit for all brunch lovers seeking an epic experience to lounge and dine. We sampled a variety of items from their Breakfast Collection, available every Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 1 pm. We indulged in the COCO Full English Breakfast, cooked to perfection with lovely sunny eggs, and the Egg Benedict topped with delicious hollandaise sauce. For a sweet treat, we tried the COCO French toast, served with warm chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream, and the COCO pancakes, which came with fresh fruit and the stickiest maple syrup drizzled generously. To complement our meal, we sipped on a fancy mocktail with a delightful bubble show and enjoyed their creamy cappuccino, a quintessential part of the experience. From start to finish, I absolutely loved the dining experience at COCO Grill & Lounge. I wholeheartedly recommend the breakfast collection here. Treat yourself, a friend, or a loved one, and book a visit soon – you won't regret it!
