I dined at this restaurant on a visit to Tower Bridge. The restaurant is only a 7 minutes' walk from London Bridge National Rail and underground. There are other restaurants around, but this is one of the only Italian restaurants near Tower Bridge. The waiting times were around 20-30 minutes for my family and I - 3 people. This isn't too bad considering the fact that we went during lunch time and that the majority of seating was unavailable. The server was professional and helpful in terms of assisting us with finding a table. Everything was going great until we noticed that we were sitting next to a group of 15 people: adults and children. They were the only group audible out of everyone else in the entire restaurant. They were constantly making noise to the point where we asked if we were able to switch tables. After a couple of minutes, a table was offered: around two rows back from our current table, which wasn't that helpful, so we didn't move. You can order the food via a QR code (self-service) on the table. If you do not have WiFi, you can connect to the free WiFi provided by the restaurant. We ordered the Lasagne, Chicken Alfredo (Linguine), Garlic Bread, and some coffee. Everything was delicious! All of the dishes tasted fresh and were very tasty. The lasagne was very soft and was not too cheesy. The staff were also very helpful and professional and were more than happy to attend to us. Overall, the restaurant was very good for our first time dining here. Next time, we hope that our seating doesn't account for too much and doesn't contribute negatively towards our experience. I would recommend this restaurant if you want some delicious pasta and are in the area.

Vapiano is a great Italian restaurant offering a wide variety of dishes, including pasta, pizza, and lasagna. It’s an excellent spot for a casual meal, especially if you’re craving Italian food with a modern twist. We started with the bruschetta, garlic ball bread, and chicken skewers for appetizers, and they were all delicious. I highly recommend the chicken skewers—they were tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The garlic ball bread was another standout: warm, soft, and packed with flavor. For the main course, I had the pizza, and my friends ordered different types of pasta, including chicken, shrimp, and tomato-based options. Honestly, every dish was amazing. The pizza was bursting with flavor and had a perfectly crisp crust that really stood out. The pasta dishes were equally impressive, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The restaurant operates on a self-service system, where you order online and the food is delivered to your table. We did face a small glitch with the ordering process and had to go to the cashier to complete it, so be prepared for minor hiccups. The service was fair—friendly, but there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of attentiveness. The location is fantastic, offering great views and a lively atmosphere. However, the seating leaves something to be desired—the chairs aren’t very comfortable, so it’s not a place you’d spend hours at. That said, the quality and flavor of the food, especially the pizza, more than made up for any imperfections. Overall, Vapiano is a solid choice for a casual, tasty Italian meal. If you’re looking for great food without lingering for too long, this is definitely a spot worth trying!

Came here last weekend with my friend and my two kids. Definitely a family-friendly place with a mix of high tables and low tables suitable for baby highchairs and wide enough space for buggies or wheelchair users. I really like Vapiano for their freshly made pasta. This was the first time I went to the Tower Bridge branch (been London Bridge before, great service there!) and while the food quality was as expected - DELICIOUS - I am sad to say the service was not. I asked (in addition to drinks) for tap water several times and after almost all of our food was eaten, it then arrived after we asked another staff member. Staff were friendly but they need to be more organised with service. Maybe because we were sat at the back of the restaurant, they’d forgot about us. The food as I mentioned, was just as expected. I opted for the pasta with Pomodoro sauce, additional prawns, mild chilli oil and garlic oil - it was almost identical to the arrabbiata sauce! I loved it, very well seasoned. Pasta was al dente and cooked to perfection.👌🏼 The kids meal for £7.95 is value for money - their pizza came as a bunny and was big enough for the both of them to share! Excellent value for money, but please improve the service when following up additional requests from the tables.

If you consider that the (££) shown on Google is relative to the area, then the sticker shock won’t be…shocking. But everything is expensive. It was above £50 for three people to eat during our visit—if that puts it in perspective for you. The toilets were very clean and, whether we like it or not, the ordering is all online. You don’t have to make an account but you have to give a ton of information to order. We added olives to a pizza so, black olive lovers beware, these are NOT what you’re expecting. All items brought you to a customization portion so adding things to your pizza was easy. The wait wasn’t long and everything was clean. Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood for some decent Italian food and the kids’ menu is more robust than at other places. The pizza crust is extremely thin and flimsy and topics are generally just piled in the center. Keep that in mind and you’ll be good to go. The wait time was low which is great when you’re starving. All in all, we enjoyed it. We’ve had way worse pizza and the atmosphere was excellent. Bonus credit for the quote from the late—and very great—Frank Sinatra.

Recent visit: 12-04-2024 I'm sorry to report a less-than-satisfactory experience at Vapiano. We encountered a significant mix-up with our food order; my wife, who is vegetarian, was mistakenly served a meat dish instead of the veggie option she ordered. This mistake alone was quite upsetting. Further compounding our disappointment, I reached out to the management via email to address this issue, but my concerns have yet to be acknowledged or responded to. The lack of response from their team really highlights a disregard for customer care and service. I hope this feedback prompts a change in how customer complaints are handled in the future. Would I be going back? What do you think???? _______________________________________________________________ old review: Good food, shame about how long it takes food to be cooked and sent over. As ordering is done via your phone, contact with waiters is minimal and doesn't feel right as random people drop starters, drinks and main course to your table. No one comes back to check if food or service is okay.

Really nice restaurant for meeting up with friends or family. If it’s for a date pick the right table so you can talk and be heard by just your loved one. My friend and I sat near a window and on the ground floor. First floor would have been better as the views are amazing! Situated very close to Tower Hill station or if the weathers good you can stroll down from London Bridge Station, past Hays Galleria and the former London Mayors office. They had some beautiful displays with picture of Malawi there. Set back a little from the Thames you have Vapianos, next door to Bridge Theatre. The staff were all efficient and polite friendly! Considering they were busy they maintained their professionalism. The food arrived quick, hot and was tasty we really enjoyed our drinks too! I will return again on the summer and sit upstairs and extend my evening! Thanks for a lovely night! Given 4 star instead of 5 as the toilets were a mission…lucky my food wasn’t cold when I got back hahaha!
