Wok Express — Local services in London

Hey guys it’s Kay here from the very bottom of the River Thames. I’m here to write about an experience I had with this establishment the other day. It was late in the evening and I was babysitting the grandkids and we was feeling very starving marving so I decided to order the grandkids and I a nice Chinese to share. I ordered the food and it arrived very late. When I opened the bag and it was the wrong order. Me the grandkids were absolutely FUMING so I picked up the phone and immediately called the restaurant. When they picked up I expressed the fact that we received the wrong order and no longer wanted the food. A member of staff said we can get a new order sent out and so I agreed as the grandkids and a I were RAVENOUS. 30 minutes later the man arrived at the door and we traded our wrong order for the correct one. And he went to deliver the food to the right person and we ate our dinner which was very delightful and went to bed. 10 out of 10 would...

I had this place as takeaway 2 times now and the first time I ordered was great, everything was hot and tasted amazing which is why I ordered again and this time, the fried rice tasted so bland, rice was so hard I had an upset stomach within a few hours, sweet and sour chicken was so dry when usually they’re served with abit more of the sauce. The only thing that was nice was their sour and spicy soup, it was warm but had barely any chicken? Like I had 3 chicken strips in it? I’m honestly disappointed. Another disadvantage was the store only accept cash. Meaning they over price everything online since they don’t accept card. People who has no choice but to order delivery or click and collect would have to pay extra fee just cause the store refuse to bring in card machine. Honestly sad how the food looks so nice but...

I can't believe this place is delivering food. We ordered from here and waited 1 hour. Decided to call them up to find out and they rudely told us to speak to the driver instead and find the number online. I called the driver and he said he never received the order. Next thing I know, they cancelled our order!!!!! I haven't eaten since 11am because I am a key worker and the day I decided to have a takeaway after a long day, they cancelled it and I had to re-order the whole thing and now the waiting time is again 1 hour.
