Unfortunately the food was of really poor quality. Both the curry goat and curried chicken were awful. The picture is of all the fat and skin in the goat meal, there was barely any edible meat. The curry chicken was mainly wings which my mum does not eat, instead of leg and thigh as you'd expect. Both curries also had a very bizarre earthy flavour and way too much garlic. Finally the large meals were a rip off, half rice half curry, where I'd expect the whole bottom of the container to be filled with rice. Curry was also poorly packaged. Only reason my review is 1* is because the jerk chicken was okay, but no where near the best. Wasted £50 for what was supposed to be a nice treat for a birthday deal for my mum.

Macaroni Cheese was wet and sloppy and totally undercooked, I don’t even think it saw the inside of oven, absolutely disgusting and that went straight in the bin after Uber said I wasn’t entitled to a refund. The stew chicken had more bones in it than chicken, therefore forever spitting bones out when trying to eat. Definitely not a fan of purple coleslaw at all. A complete disappointment, and twenty quid out of pocket, I most definitely will not be ordering food from here again Will prepare my own in future as I can do way better.

Ordered x2 curry goats at £16 each wowza...they were inedible, burnt and mostly bones..the portion sizes were shabby for the amount charged, I have been here a good few times over the years but seems to be going really down hill lately...I also had a steamed cabbage that came with burnt parts hidden underneath and peas that were black and rock hard.. I'm quite upset at the amount I just spent...avoid avoid avoid

2 Adults 1 Child Food order on a Saturday afternoon.

We placed our order at around 4:30pm via the Just Eat application and was given the estimated time for our food to be around 6:25pm. So we planned around this time, ensuring my son wasn't snacking up until this point so he would eat all his dinner. As the restaurant had ran out of Mac & Cheese I even had time to make my own lickle batch.

For my son I ordered fried chicken with some rice & peas.

My partner and I went for the peppered prawns for a starter. And 2 guiness punch

The lady of the household had Jerk chicken with rice & peas I went for the curried goat, with some rice and peas and 'slaw.

It got to around 6:40pm and I wanted an update as we were already hungry, and the app told us it will now be 7:10pm for the delivery! So we waited albeit, reluctantly. I called the restaurant in this time and checked with the manager that our food will be fresh - he advised that this would be the case and the that our food is on its way.

I called again at 7:30 as we still had no food and was told "it's conin, we're just busy im sorry about this" and qas offered 2 complimentary adult meals on our next order.

Our food finally arrived 7:45, I had to go and find the driver as he was lost. We sat down to at around 8pm bearing in mind we ordered at 4:30!!

The rice was overcooked and in some places clumped together in large solids rice blocks. The curried goat was circa 70% bones! Never in all my life eating curried goat have I experienced this before. The prawns rubbery and not as I would have imagined, plus their intestines were left in and black (which means their full) I'm not a fan of this gritty to the bite type of preparation.

The 'slaw was like watery mayo with shredded carrots.

The only part of the meal my son enjoyed was my homemade Mac & Cheese. My partner enjoyed her chicken and both Guiness Punches were nice.

We were left upset and hungry and had to grab food from Nandos to fill the void! We ended up eating this at 9pm.

I called and told the manager about our dissatisfaction and he agreed to a refund for food. Just eat already gave me £20 for the poor experience and ridiculously long wait for food and advised that I would have to speak with the shop for a refund. This i did a few times now and here I am, 2 weeks on, no refund for some of our food.

Would I go back there again. No!! I can cook very well and the point of a takeaway service for me is to not cook and enjoy some decent food without the bother.

I didn't want to leave this review, but 2 weeks have passed leaving me no choice....

Was really looking forward to this meal as reviews seemed good, but the Whole experience was bad! For a start we waited 40 mins for 2 dishes, Brown stew chicken and the curry goat...still feeling relatively excited not realising the wait ahead. .started to nod to the music before realiaing pure profanity..now I love my bashment and reggae, but in a resturaunt, I do not want to hear 40 minutes of womens underneat and hoodtop profanity!! No service at all whilst waiting..no cutlery no drink offers nothing at all...asked how long for foos told 2 mins it comes 10 mins later...ASKED for cutlery to eat the meal And ordered drink..that took 10 mins too..comes and is wrong drink! curry goat looks great...it isn't!! Its badly seasoned and tastes like lemons!! Was cooked well though but could not be fully eaten. Stodgy tiny dip cup of plaintain is ridiculous!! Brown stew is almost black with browning, no veg visable in it! Also couldnt be eaten...All in all we spent just over £50 and it was AWFUL I do...

Friday 17th March at 17:30, I came into the store for a vegetable pattie. Halfway through eating the pattie I see fish pieces. I calmly went back to the restaurant and told the lady who served me she gave me a fish pattie, when I requested the vegetable pattie as I always do when I buy food from there. She doesn’t say anything and changes my pattie. Not even a sorry.

I asked if I can get something to compensate, like a drink because I told her about how I haven’t eaten meat or fish for over 5 years. She gives me attitude and rolls her eyes at me saying “water!” I could have taken this further because she clearly didn’t care and had no respect for my dietary requirements after I told her my reasoning.

I try to everyone kindly and was so shocked by her change of attitude and her hostility. I didn’t even...
