Superdrug — Local services in Manchester

Been shopping here for years but I won't be doing again. The manager I encountered was disgraceful, muttering under her breath like I couldn't hear her, she was on a power trip. So more and more lately the prices on the shelves do not reflect the real price at the till, so unless you're paying attention, you'll pay way more than you expected. When you question the price, they'll go to the shelf to find the label. The manager returned with one of the price labels and said the other one didn't have the same price. So I went to the shelf and got the other label for her (after she declined to go look where I told her it was). I returned with the label, quite embarrassed now because she kept shouting over the whole store towards me as I retrieved it. She proceeds to tell me that the label wasn't directly underneath the product (it was about 10cm further down the shelf), so she will not honour the price of that one. I replied that it isn't my fault they've stacked the shelves wrong, with incorrect price labels. She then proceeded to power trip; instead of honouring the shelf price for both items, she quote "put her foot down" and will only honour it for one single item (I was trying to buy two of the same thing). The attitude of the manager just made the whole situation bigger than it had to be and honestly I'd love to know how she blagged herself that job in the first place. Zero customer service skills. Belongs in a non-customer...

Typical superdrug with really helpful staff that know their stuff arojmd the shop which is satisfying however a certain member on the tills didn't have much respect for me as a customer. Dont believe there was a reason as i don't talk much at the tills but the rest of the staff were great and helpful.

The security guard did like to stalk each aisle i went into as they just instantly targetted me like i was a thief but i guess he is just doing his job. I found what i needed in the shop...

A few weeks ago, I bought some earplugs at this store, and there was a very friendly staff. I don't know her name, but she is a white lady with brown straight hair, tall and slender. She told me that students could get a 10% discount and even helped me sign up for a Superdrug membership card. Since then, whenever I've visited the store, I haven't encountered staff as friendly as her, and they didn't even ask if I had a student discount. I am still grateful...
