We had an incredible time at Escape Hunt, tackling the Alice in Puzzleland escape room as a pair. The booking process was straightforward, though it would have been helpful if the website displayed the difficulty levels for each room more clearly.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed into a spacious, comfy waiting area with a small bar and toilet facilities nearby, which was a nice touch. The staff member who greeted us was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly (I'm sorry we forgot your name, but you were fantastic!), and she helped set the mood for the adventure ahead. She gave us a quick overview of the room’s storyline and safety guidelines before we secured our belongings, including mobile phones, in a small locker with a padlock. We were also informed that the door to the room wasn't locked, and we could step out for a toilet break at any time, which was reassuring.

The escape room itself was immersive and well-designed. The clues followed a linear path, but the variety of riddles kept us engaged and constantly thinking. Our game master, Ari, was superb! She was attentive, offering hints only when we asked for them or when we were truly stuck. Her role-playing was spot on, and her voice was so captivating, it felt like we were in a movie. Truly impressive!

As a couple with some escape room experience, we found the difficulty level just right. We only needed one hint, but more could have been provided if necessary. We managed to escape in just under 44 minutes, landing second place on the leaderboard!

Overall, we had a fantastic experience. The staff were all fully invested in their roles, and the entire experience, from start to finish, was amazing. Highly recommend this escape room, and we’ll...

Shout out to Mo, our Games Master, who was really great at explaining, helping us out and was super cheerful all the way through.

The concept of the room is lots of fun but we were a bit disappointed with the execution. There were 5 of us in the room but because the puzzles mostly had to be solved one after the other and didn’t really need 5 people, we ended up with a couple of us stood around waiting for a lot of the time. The theming and room decoration is fun (love the Dalek) but it felt like some parts weren’t really working - that there should have been more lights on/around the Dalek and perhaps some other effects. One puzzle definitely wasn’t working correctly - our Games Master helped us with a workaround but it cost us time. The room needs a little TLC.

Some of the other rooms here look fun but I am a little hesitant to book them if the play experience is going to be limited like it was in this one.

If you’re a Dr Who fan then this is worth a go but I’d say 3-4 adults max...

Instantly greeted by Sam when I entered. He was very friendly , informative and patient throughout. Explained the game thoroughly and made sure we understood game rules and how to ask about clues before entering. Put us at ease especially when he told us cameras have audio! I was a bit worried about watching our language ! But Sam told us not to worry and just enjoy ourselves which we really did. The game was really fun. (We did the Alice in wonderland game!!) Not too easy , but not too difficult for us novices! although I doubt we would have managed without the clues so really grateful that was an option rather than standing around aimlessly!! I’d not been to resorts world before so was also very thankful that Sam asked if we needed our parking tickets validated as I wouldn’t have known about that otherwise. A lovely experience made much more enjoyable by Sam. Definitely will be returning with the group to try another room and hope our experience will be as pleasant...
