I wish I had read the reviews prior to booking this place for my daughters 4th birthday meal.

The service we received was so poor today. The waiter was very slow to take our order, they then Bought our starters out but not our children’s food at the same time which was requested when the order was placed. We had to ask for the supervisor who said it was a mistake in the kitchen and by the time their food came out our starters were cold! I eventually just asked for the bill and for my main meal to be cancelled. We were then being charged for a drink which should have been free as part of the children’s menu, for the supervisor to then state that it was okay as the issue was rectified (only once I had told them what they had done)

The owner really needs to look into the general attitude of his supervisor Kaiya, who thought the service we had received was pretty much okay and to standard, I did ask her to put herself in our shoes but I guess she was not bothered! She is not the right person to be representing your restaurant on a senior level unless you really want to lose more customers! The rest of the waiters/ waitresses also need training on their attentiveness and to take ownership of the customers they are serving. The only good bit of service we received was from the lady who was at the door and sat us down. Sorry I did not get her name. The food that we had although was eaten cold was tasty too.

We expected the food and service to be on par if not better than the Birmingham branch but I have to say your restaurant was a real let down. When people are paying good hard earned money for food and a service, they should not be getting treated the way we were today and pretty much fobbed off!

I really hope the owner takes notice of the feedback they receive on here. I will be following this up with...

Been out this evening for a meal at VSK and I enjoyed myself. The vibe was good and it was busy, so I would recommend booking if you're going to attend especially on a Friday/Saturday. On our arrival or table wasn't ready so was asked to wait 15 minutes, which want a problem as we had arrived 15 minutes earlier anyway, however after that had passed we were still waiting a bit before being seated. Once sat down we were told that there was a bit if a delay in food coming out so it could be anything up to 45 minutes from ordering. I then overheard one of the staff members pass a message around to say not to take any orders due to the backlog that was happening. I don't think that was done professionally personally but we had already been told about the delay. Not taking orders would mean a longer wait on top of the 45 minutes already stated. One of the staff members that clearly didn't get the information took our order anyway and he was helpful and pleasant. Upon our order being taken however a female member of staff told him that there wasn't meant to be any orders taken. Our food arrived within about 20 minutes, which I found wasn't a bad turnover considering how busy it was. I had the Crispy Pork Belly Big Bowl with Jasmine Rice which I really enjoyed. The vegetarian menu was full too with a good choice of which my wife had the No Grilled Chicken Pho, which she enjoyed. When they say Big Bowls, they mean BIG. Personally I enjoyed the presentation, the quantity and the flavour. My wife was unable to finish hers though.

Overall I did enjoy the food and the staff were nice enough, however the slight problems at the beginning and what happened prior to ordering did put a little dent in it. Doesn't mean to say that I wouldn't go back because I did enjoy the food so I will go...

The front of house worker was very attentive, we arrived early but didn’t expect to be given a table straight away, they apologised and asked us to take a seat outside. We took this opportunity to read the menu & decide on food. Not an issue! We were shown to our table 5min early which was great. To be then left half an hour before we were asked what we wanted to drink. In this half an hour, it was like an episode of eastenders! A waitress was getting in the face of 2 customers effin and blinding at them, another waitress holding the other waitress back. 😂 I know dealing with public isn’t always easy, but this was another level! Perhaps she needs a job behind the scenes and not have to deal with ar**holes! Said waitress then stood at the bar with her arms crossed glaring in to space with a face like slapped backside for ages! We eventually got served, my Coke hadn’t been refrigerated so I asked for extra ice, the ice came in a glass as to which the waitress threw the cubes in to my coke! Little fizzy volcano 👍🏽 Food came after a while, it was absolutely beautiful. Them chefs are fab at their job. I got the attention of a waitress to ask for another coke & I wasn’t sure if she’d acknowledged it or not. 5min later, it came, but then in a sarcastic manner, asked do you need more ice than that!? Try stocking your fridges in time ready for service so you don’t serve warm bottled pop! Waitresses try clearing your tables before you’ve finished. It’s just like a massive inconvenience you’re there! I was annoyed by the service charge on the bill, certainly don’t deserve a £5 tip for the service! However, I’d be happy to tip the chefs the full amount of the service charge! It was a stressful loud atmosphere. Think we were very unlucky as there are such...

I stayed in Hilton which was next door so I went to this restaurant 2 days in a row. The atmosphere is suitable for dating or solo eating as it's a bit dark (much darker in real life than in the photo). I had Hu Tieu Mi, Bun Bo Hue and Summer roll. They advertised this is family business, owner is Vietnamese and food is authentic BUT I will rate the authenticity is about 6.5 out of 10 (I'm Vietnamese born and bred, living in the UK for a while and have tried lots of Vietnamese restaurants across the country - if that means something). The crepe cake is below average and quite ruin my taste at the end of the meal. A very annoying bit is about their staffs. The only girl made me feel welcoming is the girl behind the bar. The rest of them gave me the "couldn't careless" energy. They forgot my drink order. When they brought it they dashed it in the table rudely. They said Hi as if they didn't mean it. They came to check how the food was with a long face. They came for the bill with the attitude as if I begged for free food. They didn't say thanks and goodbye when I left. And they charged 10% customer service (which is optional). I still paid this 10% - fairly because of that single lady behind the bar who seems care enough to her customers. I believe a proper restaurant service is not only about the food, it's about the customer service as well. They're equally important. Their attitude and energy made my experience MUCH LESS enjoyable. Been here twice (mainly because it's the only Vietnamese restaurant that is next to my hotel) so will say it's enough. I definitely wont come back again considering the food is just a bit more than average but the service is wayyyyy below average. Ps: the Vietnamese songs playlist is a nice touch.

Not sure why this place has a Google rating right now of 3.8, this place is really nice! We went there today (boxing day 2021) and it was fairly quiet, probably due to resorts world not having many shops open and the time we went (about 3pm). We ordered a bao bun each, a portion of saucy ribs, a portion of king prawns bites, an apple juice and 2 cocktails(lychee cooler and rum runner) The food came out really quickly and everything just tasted really really nice, the sauce on the ribs was brilliant, and king prawns were great but its difficult to make them bad, the bao buns were some of the nicest we ever had! DO NOT ORDER APPLE JUICE - it comes in a small bottle, we'd have preferred some freshly juiced apple juice - but this is minor, if you came with kids probably just order water or squash or something, apple juice is nice but was the only thing we thought was overpriced. The staff are friendly and the decor was really nice - and everything looked VERY clean. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos until we nearly finished our food, so I have put a couple on to show what eating in the middle of a meal is like 😆 My only other criticism is they were playing English music, and god help us Coldplay came on at one point (shudder) I would have preferred some Vietnamese or Asian fusion music as I'm eating in a Vietnamese place, but that's probably due to the fact they have to cater for everyone and not just me, I'm guessing the majority of English people would prefer English music, I can live with that but when Coldplay comes on just provide ear plugs please. 5/5 will come again.
