Five Guys Burgers and Fries Birmingham Resort World — Restaurant in Metropolitan Borough of Solihull

I visited this branch I believe 29th November. I was with my son who is 4 and on the pathway to being diagnosed as autistic/adhd and my friend. We only visited to get a couple of milkshakes just to have a sit down and a catch up. I could only really afford one milkshake so I ordered a strawberry as I knew that’s the only one my son would drink. The guy who served us overheard me telling my friend how much I liked the biscoff shake but I couldn’t order it as I knew my son wouldn’t even entertain the idea of trying it. To my surprise when my order number was called, the server handed me two cups, he explained he overheard me and told me he had made a biscoff shake for me and made just a small amount of the strawberry shake for my son. I was absolutely gobsmacked at this lovely and thoughtful gesture. I thanked the colleague and was honestly almost in tears about how nice it was. I didn’t get the guys name but he was probably in his early 20’s. He is an absolute credit to the store and because of him I would 100% recommend this site to others. I went in on the 30/03/24 and ordered a vegatarian burger with cheese as i dont eat meat. I have always appreciated 5 guys putting a non meat option on the menu, even if it is a little overpriced for what it is. The burger arrived and as i took a bite i straight away new something was wrong, they had put a beef burger inside that had been obscrued by the melted cheese. I emptied my mouth and told the manager. It seemed like the staff all found it funny as they looked for who was to blame. The manager said sorry and made me what i asked for within 10 minutes.

Honestly, a sorry wasnt good enough. You may not care that i dont want to eat an animal but if it was an allergy issue it would have been much more serious. The casual "sorry" just wasnt enough for me and i wont be using 5 guys again. Really sad to see the way staffing and customer care are handled in resort...

Where do I start. This review is based on 2 visits. First time no milkshakes available like I'm at a mcdonald's or something and limited drinks available in soda machine. These things happen so I left it at that. Then my second visit I ordered click and collect online. When i turned up, none of my food had even been started though it was quiet in there. Then I'm told that most of my ingredients for the milkshake I ordered was out of stock (why isnt this updated online ?)then there was limited drinks in the soda machine again and only 1 machine working. Then when I got home I couldn't eat the fries they had a stupid amount of salt on them I should've called back up and asked if there was anymore fries to go with my salt. I paid nearly £40 for burgers and fries that was no better than...
