Market Street Chippy. — Local services in Preston

I visited this chippy on bank holiday Monday and the atmosphere was not very friendly. I visited it again on Friday 21 April for a small portion of chips & curry sauce. The prices was £2:30 and the amount of curry sauce was tiny and definitely NOT worth the extra £1 they were charging. The woman asked if I wanted salt and vinegar, I said no, but she put vinegar on them anyway. I said “ I didn’t want vinegar or salt” she pushed it to one side and made my order and asked if I wanted them open or wrapped I said wrapped, she thumped my order on the counter. I asked for a fork and the slammed the fork down on the counter with a really dirty look. Is this any way to treat a customer? I only went there because the other chippy was closed. What a joke this place has become. Staff are rude and unwelcoming. Said food would be five minutes and took longer. When the kids left it because they needed to get bus they refused to refund when no food was given. Went back to speak to the staff and the male and female serving were just rude and dismissive. Said that that’s the rule. Could understand if it was fish but they only ordered two chips and sausage. Would not recomend at all considering food was longer than what they would say....
