First ever visit, the cinema is overall great, free 3hrs of parking - enter reg details at the tablet when leaving They have a family ticket option (1 Adult, 1 child) which makes it cheaper and great value. Good snack options but greater drink options - have a lot of self serve drinks to choose from, some flavours I’d never heard of before! Downside was the tango ice blast machines were out. The screens themselves aren’t my favourite and I probably wouldn’t come here to watch a film I really wanted to watch, - screen 6- the doors aren’t closed on start of the film so if the last person left it open it leaves you with light glare from the hallway on the screen, I went to shut the door myself, but then other viewers would leave the door open again and the light glare was back and unfortunately it was very noticeable- I was sat in the middle row, maybe a further up seat would’ve made it better but I don’t know, just seems poorly designed. Also the cinema seemed to have double booked some tickets, a few people on our row were confused as to where to sit due to having the same seat number, very odd. Sound was okay and the seats were very comfortable! Staff were also all very lovely which makes for a great...
Read moreSeats and screens are good. Unfortunately they nickel and dime you at every turn. When you book tickets in the first place they pump the price up a bit for a "booking fee" at checkout. Why isn't that included in the initial amount?
There's a prohibition on your own food and drink which no other cinemas have, that's already looking at doubling your costs.
When you're parking you get three hours. If your film lasts over three hours, that's something else you can look forward to paying for.
The parking system didn't work when I tried to put my registration in. The guy was very nice and tried to help, but it was obvious that the parking operators and the cinema didn't speak to each other very much. He said I'd be fine to leave, and that there'd be an office. I didn't see any office. When I tried to leave I was stuck behind a barrier until some operator answered the call.
Ads before the film include veganism ones, which I wasn't a fan of.
As mentioned, the seating was very comfortable, but it's shared arm rests with the seat next to you, so if it's a busy film, not so great. Fortunately it was totally dead when I went. Vue is great in...
Read moreWent for the first time on Saturday 24th May. After a negative experience at Taco Bell next door my mood was not great and then when I turned up at 20 too to be told that the screen for my 10 too showing wasn't ready yet I was ready to write the day off as a busy but then...
The guy managing the doors was great and he was apologetic, friendly and dealing professionally with not only the likes of a grumpy old bloke like me but also a lot of families anxious to get in and see Lilo and Stitch (not my film!). His mood and positivity raised my mood which was set to improve as once in the screening room (at about quarter too so I was moaning over 5 mins in the end!) I was impressed with the cleanliness, seats (reclining and soft, or lush as my Missus would say) and the quality of both the screen and sound.
All in I had a great experience and will go back again soon (but not stop at Taco Bell first).
I wish I had noted the guy at the doors name as he was in part pivotal for making my experience great and is a credit to...
