Bought the Volare garlic bread and the Penne Arrabbiata but it wasn't anywhere near the same quality as what I've experienced in Southern Italy (Amalfi region).
The garlic bread had pieces of cut up tomatoes on it (rather than a passata type sauce) and the pasta didn't taste anything like I've had before in Italy. The tomato sauce in the arrabbiata tasted tangy rather than sweet.
Was quite disappointed with the food and have had better food at Bella Napoli.
I can make better penne arrabbiata myself than both places! All you need is some extra Virgin olive oil, some fresh garlic cut up and some cut up red chillies. I couldn't eat it, I had to empty my mouth in to a napkin. When placing the order, delivery was quoted at 60 minutes. It took 1 hour 20 minutes to arrive. We live within a 5 minute drive so not sure why the food was late and cold. Not worth the £30+ I paid. Very disappointed.
