Deans Bakery — Restaurant in Preston

I’ve been today at 11.40 and found much more selection than last time. This is probably because I beat the dinner time rush. Served by a friendly member of staff, service with a smile. I have given 5 stars today. The butter, cheese and meat and potato pies were hot and very tasty. The cakes were also delicious especially the vanilla slices. It’s getting pricey but most things are now, around £18.00 for 5 pies and 3 cakes. Thanks Deans

Bought meat and potato pies from Deans today at 12.00 dinner time. I can honestly say that they don’t taste the same. Very disappointed. Also disappointed that at dinner time for the 2nd week in a row there was not the usual selection of pies and cakes to choose from. i was introduced to deans by a friend and the best decision i’ve ever made was going here. the sandwiches are made to order and always packed full with fresh salad and meats. the bread is so soft and fresh. the traybakes and cakes are always so delicious (the apple slices are life changing - a must try for anyone visiting). the pies are to die for, the pastry is buttery and delicious. i had never tried a butter pie until i visited here but it’s the only place i will eat them. i’ve never had anything bad from this place. the staff are lovely and i’ve never had a bad experience here. just beware most days you will have to queue if you’re going for lunch but it’s so worth it i...

Not been to Dean's since it changed hands and we won't go back, we went on Saturday 5April, the older woman did not stop moaning about how busy they were complaining to a young girl who was a waste of time, running her hands through her hair then touching the food, do the staff now nothing about health and hygiene I remember if you went at 1pm you could not get a coffee renoir, all sold out there must have been 10 left ,looking at the state of them you can see why.
