Unfortunately we didn’t have a good experience living at Eyewitness, we had a stressful issue with mould caused from the unsealed brickwork which we were told to by staff that it was salt from the bricks and unventilated rooms. We would air our flat daily from the moment we started living there and let them know and it felt like they did not want to believe us. We had a lot of our sentimental items being thrown out because the mould had spread everywhere, again staff did not respond to this other than offering to sand down the salts and later said we shouldn’t have put artwork near the bricks. When moving out we were charged £456 for a scratch that was caused by the unpaved path outside our buildings which the staff had told us we must’ve have scratched it with our furniture which we did not do. During our move out process we were asked to come back to scrub more and dust the flat. We were upset with how living here had turned out. We love to support businesses and we like to think we are a very positive and friendly couple! We are upset to leave such a harsh sounding review however we wouldn’t want another tenant to experience this! We also do want to be dishonest about our experience here. Our first few months we had no issues and enjoyed living in our flat, issues only occurred when we had reported this incident. There is absolutely nothing I can fault about the staff, facilities and service at Eyewitness. When viewing the apartments for the first time Kara was enthusiastic, honest and just fantastic with her knowledge of the property and each apartment as well as answering all our questions (and there was a lot). Liz was also amazing at helping us secure the flat and go through the process. As my partner and I are first time renters we were unsure about most of the process and Liz gave us great advice and support all the way through. When we arrived to move in Emily welcomed us with a lovely smile and let us know everything about the utilities, WIFI, fuse box etc. Ryan must be absolutely sick of seeing my face as I have asked for help with so many things. When we asked about privacy film for the window the team were straight on it and it was installed the day after. Last night we had our first social event with the neighbours which was organised by Kara and the team. Everything was catered for, drinks, snacks, equipment for bingo and of course first class service by Kara, Nicky and Emily, who all stayed late to ensure it ran well. I lived at Eyewitness for 18 months (from pretty much the beginning) and I had the absolute best experience. Easily my favourite place to live in my 17 years of renting.

The top thing for me was the people working there; looking after the residents and the property. Nicky, Kara, and Ryan especially were always an absolute delight and it was the highlight of many a day to come down and chat over a coffee.

You could tell that nothing was too much trouble for them. They worked incredibly hard, always with a genuine smile, and would even organise events like quizzes and wine & cheese evenings, which made it easier to meet other residents - great for me as a single occupier. Equally, it’s all very chill if you prefer to be a little more introverted.

The building, interior, and courtyards are all stunning. Everything is beautifully designed (with excellent amenities) and the 1 bedroom flat I was renting was ideal. Exposed brick with windows on both sides, a cleverly-designed kitchen/living space, lovely furniture, and a beautiful view of the courtyard - I loved it and very much wish I could have stayed for longer.
