Ordered here for the first time and there was so much that we wanted to try. We got the mambo chicken - the coating of the chicken was so crispy and well seasoned and the chicken itself was so juicy and not dry at all. The mango was sweet, yet tart and had a little kick to it. We got a build your own burger because the ones they had on their menu were a bit too big since we ordered quite a few things. We got a smashed beef patty burger with their trimmings of lettuce, tomato, red onions, and we added cheese and gherkins too - topped off with their guilty house special sauce. It was the perfect size burger, patty was seasoned well and they were generous with the salad. We also tried their sriracha wings with a side of the asian slaw and honestly it went so well with their salted rustic fries - the wings were saucy, the slaw was crunchy with a sweet and soury taste and the fries had a soft potato-like texture in the middle. Ordered from here without realising that the food is made within a pub. When going to collect the food this is also from within the pub. Collection from the bar area with everyone standing around drinking. I was told once the food was provided that if i had any concerns there is a back door i could have used.

When questioned if this is halal, as its made within a pub by non muslims, i was told the owner has said it is halal.

Incredible. Ordered takeaway which was ready in about 20 minutes, perfect for a quick pint at The Alexandra while I waited. Went for The Big Guilty burger (minus the tomato which for me has no place on a burger), it was probably one of the best I’ve ever had…….and I’ve eaten a fair few.
