I ordered a collection and From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the enticing aroma of spices and freshly cooked dishes, instantly making my mouth water. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide range of dishes from classic favorites to unique offerings. I decided to try the Kung Pao Chicken and Rice. The Kung Pao Chicken was a perfect balance of flavors – tender chicken pieces stir-fried with crunchy peanuts, bell peppers, and a hint of spice that left a pleasant tingle on the palate. The sauce was rich and savory, complementing the dish beautifully The Rice were equally impressive. It was fluffy and packed with a colorful array of vegetables, each bite bursting with freshness. If I could give this place zero star I would. Absolutely awful food. The worst Chinese we have ever had. I ordered the meal for four, which included starters. Chicken drumsticks were deep fried and had zero flavour. Just covered in thick, greasy batter. The wontons were not wontons, just pastry tied into a knot. The prawn toast was over done with little flavour. Duck with pancakes was just that, nothing special. The beef curry was absolutely vile. Full of gristle and inedible, covered in a thick cheap sauce that made me heave. The sweet and sour chicken was hard balls of tough chicken in a mediocre sauce. The egg fried rice contained no egg and had absolutely no flavour. None. The prawn crackers were the best part of the meal. Save your money people, I don’t even know how this place is still trading,...

I cannot recommend Happiness Chinese Takeaway enough! The food is always incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious. Their Salt and Pepper Box is an absolute game changer, every bite is packed with flavour , from the perfectly crispy chicken to the spicy, aromatic seasoning. You can really tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in their cooking. The portion sizes are generous, and the variety in the box is perfect for sharing (or indulging all on your own!).

The service is always friendly and efficient, and the food is consistently piping hot, even after takeaway. If you’re looking for a top-notch Chinese takeaway in Stockport, this is the place to go. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!
