Britannia Pizza and Grill — Local services in Stoke-on-Trent

Have been a regular customer here for a long time. Tonight, I placed my order by phone as usual, ready for me to walk round to collect. I requested the link to be sent so that I could pay on my card. It did not arrive, so rang them Person on the phone very rude, and said that they would send it again Still did not arrive, so had to ring them again The person this time read my order back to me, which was completely wrong, ( a large and a small doner kebab on nan, not pitta, my actual order). They kept repeating the wrong order, so i asked to speak to another member of staff. I went to collect my food One staff member just glared at me, the 'owner ' ?? was incredibly rude and did not even smile at me. (there is an original member of staff still there who is absolutely lovely, however, he doesn't seem to be able to respond in the way that he used to under the new owner)? I walked home with my food, however, when i unwrapped it, both ' kebabs' had a cold pitta bread thrown on top, and no nan breads! I know that mistakes happen, however, due to the earlier issues re payment, I had repeated my order approximately 4 times, and they still got it wrong! I had to phone them again, then wait for the nan breads to be delivered The delivery driver was incredibly rude, no smile/ no apologies As for the food, it was appalling Doner meat cold, greasy and did not taste fresh Salad was watery which made the nan bread soggy, chillies tasted odd, we were left with a layer of cold grease on the roof of our mouths after only a few bites. Absolutely terrible service and disgusting food which went into the bin. Sorry Britannia, you have lost a regular customer and would benefit from some training in basic customer...

AVOID AVOID AVOID!! Just had one of the worst takeaways I’ve ever had so far! The donner meat was literally drenched in oil which soaked into the naan bread of my kebab and was genuinely pouring off when tilted. (See photos of kebab, naan and paper it was wrapped in). The aftertaste of the meat was just pure salt and it arrived barely warm. The pizza was soggy and underwhelming. The one star is for the onion rings, which, in fairness were quite nice. Shocking. After travelling to pick up order hadn’t been started. Waiting 20 mins and went home. Got home and 50% of the order was incorrect, admitted to me they made a mistake but in order to get a refund or replacement item I would need to send the wrong items back so they can “show the chef” (chef!!) he already told me he’d made a mistake why have it sent back to put in the bin.
