Great little place to pop in if you're on a crawl up to Newcastle, they have a good selection of ales that changes every now n then, quirky arrangement of seating that's cool but still comfortable and some of the tables have bar games like Jenga tucked away which is always fun!

Best thing is the bar snacks trolley I've never seen a bar/pub which such a wicked variety of crisps, nuts etc... I think last time we can where we spent as much on the snacks...

A Friday night and the pub is packed and a good atmosphere unfortunately there are 3 dogs in the pub yapping away and sitting on the settees were people have got to sit when they have gone, which is not very hygienic.
