Hamzas — Local services in Stoke-on-Trent

Ive been calling in here a few months after work on the weekends. I usually have a one piece value box, or a cheeseburger and chips, but on my last few visits, I started to worry about the cleanliness of the place. You only have have look behind the counter see what I'm talking about. When I fancied a burger, the grill didn't look clean, so I had something else. On my last visit, last weekend, I did order a burger, and chips. I was messing round on my phone, and looked up because the staff were talkin, laughing and caught my attention. I noticed one guy picking his nose. Another guy was playing with a unwrapped cheese slice, like it was a piece of play doh, tossing it in the air, and smacking it between his hands. I was watching him, and I thought to myself, surely that's not going on my food, and sure enough, yes it did.. I was that shocked and disgusted, I just walked straight out without saying anything. I'll never set foot in the shop again.. it is a shame as the prices are good, and the foods not bad, but first and foremost, hygiene and cleanliness come first. Unfortunately, was one of the worst takeaway experience recently.

Had a mix kebab which included peices of inedible mutton or beef, not lamb kebab as mentioned. Pictured below. Dry overcooked and precooked peices of leather. Chicken tikka was dry as a bone unfortunelty. Marination on the chicken wasn't too bad.

The naan included in the meal was a absolute disgrace, undercooked to a point where I could roll it into a dough ball. Half the naan was thin and crispy and the other half thick and undercooked. Not sure which side was worse. Pictured below.

Top it of, the tandoori chicken I recieved was listed as half a chicken. It was not recieved as a half chicken, it was two breast pieces. Nor was it tandoori chicken, it was day old reheated chicken with fried onions in a sub par sauce. Closest resemblance would be a poorly executed chicken shashlik.

Don't bother with hamza

1. You never get what you have ordered.always something missing of your order

2. The takeaway delivery was only warm & one portion of chips were cold (gob knows where they have been)

3. The guy on the phone will have other conversations with the staff around him when your trying to order (very frustrating )

4. Can be off hand @ times when buzy

5. I now use CHILLI ROCKS & receive a much better service,
