So, as an ex kfc employee nearly 10 years ago it has always annoyed me that kfc food is so easy to prepare and cook, my regular restaurants are tunstall, fenton, or festival park, (i have worked at all these) and im really disappointed by the quality of food served to me, recently i gave meir a try but had to travel more than id like for kfc. But my experience was so good i would now prefer to travel, i walked in to a clean restaurant and i was greeted by a happy friendly lady, who gave amazing customer service, our order was ready before my daughter was even strapped into her high chair. (This again is how it is supposed to be done) i ordered a deluxe boneless and 3 pce of chicken on the bone, all food was cooked perfectly and with pride, hot and fresh, i requested more condiments and other things that was no bother to the lady who served me, my experience was so good that i requested to speak to the manager and made a point of praising him and his staff now meir is a go to for me, i have been four times since and before i wrote a review and every time i have gone i have not been...
Read moreWow, that was an experience. Pulling in it felt like I was about to be raided by the KFC police. Visible police outside to deter the teenagers causing trouble. Slow service but granted it was with a smile, the lady on the till was polite and efficient, the guy putting the orders together was pleasant and appeared to enjoy being at work. The actual seating areas were awful. Tables dirty, undesireables loitering (they might have been customers but looked undesirable) Meir has been in the news recently because of incidents of violence and anti social behaviour and to be honest. It lived up to its reputation, I would not like to walk around there after dark. Honestly. I doubt I will ever go back there, only popped in because we finished work late and didnt fancy cooking. I wish I'd have gone the chippy in Weston county. That's a fab place. Sorry guys. Not pleasant at all. Chips grey, chicken sloppy and grey, gravy runny, beans...
Read moreI recently visited KFC with Richard, a disabled child I work for, and I felt compelled to share how exceptional the service was. Despite the restaurant being busy, Husnain, one of the staff members, went above and beyond to assist us. He helped us navigate the self-ordering kiosk with a warm smile and genuine patience. What really stood out was how Husnain interacted with Richard. He spoke to him so kindly and politely, which made Richard incredibly happy. As if that wasn't enough, at the end of the meal, Husnain even gave Richard a cookie, which was such a lovely gesture. The food was served piping hot and tasted fantastic, and the overall atmosphere of the place was very welcoming. This experience completely transformed my perception of KFC. The level of care and service from Husnain and the team was outstanding, and I can’t thank them enough for making our visit so enjoyable.
Keep up the brilliant work – we’ll definitely be...
