Ordered a takeaway tonight after having one on Xmas eve and it been fab. Tonight not so great, food took 30 minutes to come after we had a notification to say it would be with us by 6:10pm it arrived at 6:35pm. Most of the food was pretty cold, no surprise when it’s been out for delivery for 30 mins. We ordered 4 popadoms and ended up with basically a bag of soggy crisps. I can never understand why takeaways put popadoms in the bag with hot food, it always makes them soggy and they were smashed to pieces. The Nan breads were pretty small for the price you pay, the salad was brown and went straight in the bin. We were given an extra bag of chips, this was due to them missing them off the delivery at Xmas, they were cold though so most went in the bin. All in all, the food was ok on the basis of the time it took to deliver and the fact the food was pretty cold and my popadoms destroyed I wouldn’t order again. First time ordering and will not be a second time... After waiting an hour after the order was placed, it hasn't arrived, so I called to ask how long the delivery would be, the call operator huffed down the phone and asked for the address. She said it had already gone out and started moaning that they had a single driver on for the evening due to illness. 30 minutes pass after the phone call, the food arrives, with an apology from the driver on the delay. The food was stone cold, all had to be decanted and microwaved to be edible, but even then it wasn't good at all. The worst curry I’ve ever had. I eat a lot of curry and ordered this last night. Three different curry’s and all three went in the bin. The keema naan was thick and doughy with nothing but a red slop inside it. No meat of any kind. The vindaloo was tasteless with bits of gristle in that was supposed to be lamb and the other two were just as bad. On the positive side the paratha was good but I fail to see how you can do a bad one. I’d wager it was the frozen kind dry fried though.
