Broadway Oatcakes — Restaurant in Stoke-on-Trent

I went in this shop on numerous occasions, tried to order oatcakes to take abroad to my family, first time was told you need to order in advance, ok I get that . Second time went in and gave 3 weeks notice I would like 3 dozen , a reasonable amount of time for a large order so I thought. No very rude answer can’t do that , ok can I have 2 dozen then , no , just that a flat no . The staff are so rude it’s beyond belief. I had friends staying on another occasion went in asked for 1 dozen oatcakes to take home to Lancashire, point blankly and very rudely dismissed with a no . I chose to use this shop as it is local , you know support your local business and all that , well I’m just glad they making enough money that they can refuse local business. By the way I did manage get oatcakes from another shop without a bat of an eyelid and very grateful of the business. Never again will my friends and family use...

Travelling home to Cumbria from the South stopped in based on Google reviews, what a fabulous find! Such friendly staff. I was gutted to see the sign saying they had sold out of packed oatcakes to take away. Still enough to make takeaway orders though so all not lost. While I waited for my order to be cooked a chap came in to pick up his order, turns out he had ordered too many and staff instantly offered me the other dozen. Made my day! Some of the best Oatcakes in Stoke and at a reasonable price to boot, I regularly stop off here on the way home from a hard nights graft for a hearty breakfast of three cheese and bacon Oatcakes for £5 or there abouts, I also often buy a dozen Oatcakes for later at the reasonable price of £1.50, I highly recommend this establishment if you want high quality Oatcakes at a fair price. 5*...
