St George's Church — Local services in Thanet

Looks quite gloomy today around the church⛪⛪⛪ but its really quite big round the back. Lots of grave stones. But looks neglected which is sad to see!! When I was younger I used to see more people and flowers🌼🌸🌻🌾🌺 or at least a few ribbons🎀🎀🎀 or something but it looks like no ones been to see there loved ones in a while!! Which is sad!! I might start putting some around the gardens on my time off!! The poppies were nice though!! People no doubt from charities around Ramsgate have knitted the poppies together then put onto some green garden wire all the way down both pillars of the church gates!!! It's looks lovely!!! And a great idea as yes there wet but they won't lose their colour and redness!!! At night it looks quite scar👻y as they are a spooky red!! Beautiful church with a vast war time history. Unlike most churches this one has locals in it, who play music and give information out, this means there isn’t really any peace inside. The tours of the crypt have a long waiting list of several months!
