We almost ordered take away from here until we saw they charged a £1 online payment "service charge"! Not being tight the food is already expensive for burger + chips, and the same price as when you eat in so i think the online service charge is ridiculous!

I am SOOOOOOOO pleased we decided to go to the restraunt. WRITTEN ONLY ON THE MENU IN THE RESTRAUNT UNDER THE VEGETARIAN SECTION IT STATES THAT IT IS COOKED ON THE SAME GRILL AS MEAT 🤮 To make it even worse it then goes on to say that all effort is made to keep BLOOD + JUICES away from the "VEGETARIAN" food!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I have been vegetarian for 20 years. I know i am lucky enough to live in a country where i can choose what i do + don't eat. I have never ever seen this before in a restraunt here. It's gross! You clearly don't want to make vegetarian food so don't! The fact it's not on your website either is misleading and surely breaking some sort of food hygiene standards. It shows you do not care about your customers. All you care about is money!

The food we saw served looked very underwhelming, small portions and nobody looked like they we're enjoying their food.

As you can tell from the owners response they really don't care about their customers. A £1 charge "for technology" LOVL I run my own business and don't charge my customers to order online.... Hello it's 2021!

My review is just, NOWHERE DOES IT STATE ONLINE WHEN ORDERING THAT MEAT + VEGGIE FOOD IT COOKED ON THE SAME GRILL. YOU NEED TO CHANGE THIS.

I was very polite, I have manners, my boyfriend who isn't veggie also agrees that it's so wrong that cook "Vegetariain" food with Meat, YUK YUK YUK. You on the other hand were very flippant and really didn't look like you gave a damn, which you have proved with your reply.

I can comment on what we saw and everyone did look very disappointed with the food, sorry but it's true.

My very fair 1 star review I think is to generous, if i could have given you zero i would have. I wanted to leave me review to warn all other Vegetarians that your mis sold advertised veggie food is no veggie. I have added a photo for everyone to see.

Your restaurant is tiny, so don't pretend to sell veggie food if you can't find in a separate grill, simples.

JUST WOW!!!! Where to start with this amazing food experience..First visit of many!! Food review club meat box with chips Baconator burger garlic and rosemary fries

Had this last night and it certainly lived up to the hype after receiving the amazing 10/10 review by the food review club we had try this place. The burger was an explosion of flavour and attention to detail and flavours were amazing right down to the super tasty bread bun. I've never had a burger this good and I've claimed to have eaten some amazing ones.

The fries are the best iv ever had hands down. Rustic skin on and so tasty. Don't expect chip shop, Chinese style chips or frozen fries you get at a standard takeaway. These are in a league of their own.

The FRC meat box....outstanding, 4 meats so you can try a bit of everything and all 4 were succulent, full of flavour and put me in a food coma.

Thank goodness for takeaways picking up the void of restaurants being closed during this pandemic, especially when this place is kicking out some of the best food around. With the above in mind a short wait is totally acceptable and forgotten about when ur tucking into the food. Lucky to have this gem of a place on our doorstep for all the street food style foodie lovers out there. (We are regulars a digbeth dining club) Two lads we overheard whilst waiting outside for our pre order had travelled from High Wycombe to try this place!

I ate at the Roly Poly Eats pop up in Gloucester and left a review for Hop Kettle but I felt it only seemed fair to leave a review for the main gaff too

Review: Sadly I had work later in the day so couldn’t have an ale. However I did have food! From Hops Resident Pop up Restaurant (which I absolutely love the idea of btw.) I was quite blown away by not only the quality of the food but the presentation and quantity. Portion sizes were more than enough, everything tasted like it had been made with real care and thought and to top it off, it all looked incredibly delicious! Service was great! Friendly and talkative staff and very attentive to your needs. It would be a nice addition to be able to order from your table via waiter or app but it isn’t the end of the world.
