The Deli @ Pershore — Restaurant in Wychavon

Having lunch at this deli was absolutely FANTASTIC. They have a small cafe, and they haven’t crammed tables together which makes the dining area such a pleasure to be in. The dining area and deli area were spotlessly clean and the staff were very nice specially the manageress who was absolutely passionate about every aspect of her business. The food was “clean” food, not processed in anyway and so incredibly fresh. The specials board was excellent. I had a two course meal, I was so impressed that I bought extras to take back home to Oxfordshire. The mars bars square are to die for!!! If you want the ultimate deli experience at a characterful town, this IS the place to grab your sandwich and fries. Fries stayed warm in the container and still lightly crispy after 10mins of me bumbling around. And the sandwich… oh my. It’s packed with delicious fillings. So so tasty yet a broke student like myself could afford with little to no mental gymnastics before paying for that delicious lunch.

The service and the level of customer service is unmatched too. Rachel and her staff have been super accommodating for my weird requests, going above and beyond for a first time customer who came from outside of the town. What a joyful place it was....

This place has always had a deli of some sorts, ever since I've known it in different guises. I had not been into this one before, but looking for something other than the average pasty and sausage rolls, they had a large selection of salad boxes, baguettes and sandwiches. Just having a couple of sandwiches, I was impressed by the generosity of the fillings (Not just in the middle like supermarket sandwiches) which packed out the whole of the bread.
