Iâve been going here since it opened and always received acceptable service. However I went last week with my aged parents and was appalled by the attitude of one member of staff who appeared to be in charge. My cinnamon roll was raw in the middle so discreetly and apologetically returned and asked to exchange for something else. She immediately told me with attitude they donât make them they are bought in and she canât exchange sheâll need to give me a refund. She grabbed the plate and threw the whole lot in the bin. As it was paid for on my dadâs bank card, he then went to the till for a refund only to be told heâd have to wait as sheâs serving another customer. My father who is a very placid man asked her to please change her attitude, her colleague then stepped in and said âsheâsâs lovely really!â My dad replied âWell she may be but she hasnât been very lovely to me today!â For my dad to say something like this was very out of character. He thought the refund had go through so he returned to the table. She then storms over and announces âit didnât go through youâll need to swipe it again!â Her attitude stunk and there was no customer service at all. She had a very sloppy attitude and isnât the right fit for the rep that coffee#1 has. I will be avoiding...

My wife and I entered this coffee shop on Monday 21st October 2024. Upon entry I couldnât help but notice that every customer in sight were wearing coats/jackets. After finding a place to sit, both my wife, I and our new born were subjected to arctic chills. When ordering we were not served with a smile, but rather an air of two staff who simply did not want to be there, let alone offer a pleasant service to their customers. Lots of passive aggressive slamming of coffee cups, and slamming of coffee grinds into bins in a manner that signalled âwhy have you just ordered a coffee, go awayâ.
After reaching a consensus from a few other freezing customers, I plucked up the courage to ask whether the air conditioning could be turned off, seeing as all customers at the time were wearing jackets and our new born child shivering in his baby grow. My ask was greeted by a reluctant barrage of passive aggressive facial expressions, a sigh, and a reluctant turning off of the frigid air conditioning. I quickly realised that the temperature had been selected for the staff rather than the customers, hence the displeasure of the staff upon hearing our simple request.
Coffee OK nothing special. Service so bad that itâs actually quite entertaining to watch the passive aggressive slams of coffee...
