I found myself here yesterday on Sunday after getting a barbed fishing lure / hook deeply embedded on the inside of my left middle finger near the middle joint (long story). I was concerned there was going to be additional damage to the finger during the removal process as this was in a very sensitive area of nerves, tendons and joints. CJ took the time to fully assess the situation and to come up with the best approach. He also did a great job cleaning the wound before and after and using a digit nerve blocker as well as a local anesthetic to help ease the pain. Shockingly I’m not very sore today and the wound looks really really good. Also Rebecca (my nurse) and Sheila (front desk) were amazing as well. ...

I came in here having moved recently from out of state and they were very confused why I was not in their system. They questioned me several times if I’ve ever been to a spectrum health before and I said no as I had moved from hundreds of miles away and had never lived in Michigan until recently. They told me the paperwork to fill out would be very lengthy and I was steered away from receiving care. Instead they tried to help me look elsewhere - very strange treatment…. I left and went to WellCare down the street where they did not interrogate me and treated me for my illness. Very poor treatment toward me as a new patient...

I would give zero stars if possible. Urgent care experience was horrible. Took them over an hour to been seen even with appointment. MA Raven or PA Lauren Leversee didn't even look at my chart because I was prescribed something with a deadly interaction. Then I tried talking to the doctor in charge Dr Joel Lopez and he was unwilling to make the situation right and backed the PAs decision even though a pharmacist called me out of concern. Disgusting.
