Terrible Experience! Just want to say before I go into this saga that the majority, all but one person, I encountered during this experience were friendly and were seemingly doing the best they could. I had purchased a washer, dryer, and used sofa set from Aaron’s in March. I paid over $1500. I chose Aaron’s because I was moving into my new place and needed these essentials. The items were readily available and they said they were able to deliver in a timely manner. I scheduled the delivery for the evening. It was between 2-5. On that day as 5 came closer I hadn’t heard from anyone so I called. They said they were running a little behind and would be at my house soon. No biggie, however a call would’ve been nice being that I had been waiting on them all day. They got to the house and dropped off the items I purchased. They said they had to come back because they didn’t bring the things they needed to hook up the washer and dryer and had to run back to the store to get them. I took a seat on the couch while I waited to find out it was SOAKING WET and noticed a rip in the cushion. This is also something I would overlook had this whole experience not turned into such a fiasco. A guy returned spent a lengthy amount of time hooking everything up. This lasted until 10P. I went to start a load of laundry and noticed the washer lines were hooked up wrong (hot was to cold, cold was to hot). Still no biggie, easy fix. However when I went to put my clothes into the dryer it wouldn’t turn on. I looked in the back and there was not even a cord for it. I called the next day and someone came out to hook up the dryer. The person arrived around 6p and stayed until after 11p. He was struggling. As it got later I decided to try and help him figure it out. I looked at it. It was obviously the wrong cord. I told him to go home and called the store the next day. They sent another guy out and he seen right away what happened. Hooked the dryer up and it wasn’t working. They took the dryer back to the store and gave me another one to use in the meantime because the one I purchased wasn’t in stock. Mind you, the washer and dryer I purchased was brand new not used. I decided at this point I need to speak to the manager of the store. I went into the store on my next day off and explained what happened and asked if there was anyway he could compensate for the terrible service. The manager was RUDE. He said the guy that initially ‘installed’ my appliances was no longer working there. He said the best he could do was refund me $50. He said that the dryer I bought had been fixed. I told him that $50 wasn’t reasonable for the amount of time and the headache. I didn’t feel like it was fair to me to have to suffer because the employee wasn’t trained or equipped for the job. The guy literally spent over 12 combined hours at my house into the night and was never able to complete the job. I also said that I didn’t purchase a broken dryer that had been repaired, I purchased a NEW dryer. He told me that he wasn’t going to be giving me anything for free and the most he could refund me is $100. I asked for corporates number. He wrote it down for me and said that it would ultimately be his decision on how to resolve the issue and I was wasting my time. I left and called corporate to make my complaint. Weeks pass by. I call to follow up and speak with the regional manager. He asks what I would like to happen and is very customer service oriented. He offers to trade the appliances or whatever I would like. I told him I’m not sure what a reasonable request would be. He says he will trade the used furniture for a new set at a discounted price. He gave me his contact info so I could get in touch with him easier. Fast forward to now, NOTHING he said he was going to do has happened and he is now not responding to my correspondence. It’s been MONTHS with no resolution in sight. And I am officially done with worrying about. I’m taking it as a loss and recommending none of you go there. Unless of course you want to be taken advantage of. Very...
Read moreI would give this store a FAT ZERO if it was here. The general manager will lie to your face. I rented a wash and dryer, top of the line. New is what they said in the store. When it was delivered, the washer had a huge dent on a corner. It's a front loader, and they scratched the glass getting it in. Plus, it leaks, like they lifted it by the door. They lied, at almost $4800.00, it's not new. I asked for the main boss, corporate, and he told me to "goggle it." I'll be calling on Monday, and I don't lie. I have pictures. Plus, I'll be washing bricks the day you come get it, I'm not paying another dime. UPDATE took them two weeks to get it out of my house. The spin cycle went completely out only after one week in my house. Contacted corporate, they also lie. Someone took my complaint and said someone would get back to me within 48 hours. No one called. I'm not surprised. Ada Oklahoma Aaron's is not worth your time or...
Read moreTerrible customer service. They don't show up when they say they will. I waited 5 days to get my daddy's matress set picked up and replaced. He slept in his recliner those 5 nights. I asked them if they had a nice used dresser they could sell me for a descent price. I was told they had 1 that was in great shape and didn't know why it was even returned. Sent me a showroom floor pic of it because I was away at work. I paid the 1st payment on it over the phone. I get home from work the next day and saw the dresser. It was a piece of trash! The corners were completely torn up. It was cardboard, so there was no fixing it! I immediately called Aaron's and they said they couldn't get anyone to come pick it up for 3 days! We live right around the corner! And they won't refund my money until they pick it up and that can take 3 to 5 business days! I won't be doing anymore business with this...
