Two things: the business storefront and the owners are two separate experiences. The storefront has a few logistical problems, but it is a highly ethical, if sometimes disorganised retail space. The owners are exceptional - and supporting businesses in Adams is so worth the efforts. We happily bought a Ravelli RV 100 stove when moving to the Berkshires from Los Angeles CA. We love this stove, and it is our primary form of heat. The engineering is great, the installation work was phenomenal and the service follow through fantastic. That said, it is a business that takes some patience given how the few staff need to cover great distances in their work. Living in the Berkshires is teaching us patience - but we have benefited enormously from the owner's kind attentions to detail and their excellent recommendations. What a joke...
Read moreCompletely unresponsive. When we purchased a pellet stove from this company, they rarely responded to calls or emails. But we assumed any company could provide ongoing service and maintenance, so we stuck it through. Now when we need service on our new pellet stove, we've learned that no other pellet stove retailer will service this brand. They only service the brands they sell. Meanwhile, Adams Stove Co. still won't respond to calls or emails. We feel completely scammed into buying a pellet stove that cannot ever be fixed if...
