Rainbow Shack — Restaurant in Adams

Rainbow Shack has a great atmosphere,but there was some disconnect there with our experience with who I assume is the owner. I ordered a soft serve cherry dip and was met with an eye roll. I don't believe it was directed at me, but it did make me a bit uncomfortable. I asked if they could do that and they said they could but that they haven't got it down to a science on how to do it yet. While I understand that, I just didn't really like the eye roll.

She handed me my ice cream and it immediately fell apart and made a mess all over my hands. I clearly was struggling (haha). If I were the owner,I would have payed close attention to my customer walking away and would have apologized . That's just me, I guess. But the eye roll doesn't match how colorful and cute this newly renovated business looks on the surface.

Your typical ice cream shop except the staff are usually pretty rude. I think only two of the girls working there have ever been nice. They also frequently mess up then get annoyed when you correct them. Girl gave me rainbow sprinkles once when I didn't ask for them and got extremely annoyed when I told her so so put it in the freezer and stared me down when she made a new one. They wonder why I pay close attention while they make my ice cream cones now. Be careful if you have allergies with toppings and such. Great ice cream, not sure how you could mess up ice cream but the people working definitely need to put on a smile and have more patience with customers.
