We've been a fan of seeing movies here for years, and we will drive here over any number of other places. It's been mandatory to see every new Marvel movie(among others) here with our kids, as having a beer and a burger is an phenomenal complement to the usual candy and popcorn.
The last time, we went right after everyone was vaccinated and there were a few bumps...the biggest one being that I hadn't realized that they weren't doing in theater service any more. All of it was understandable many places were just getting back to doing things post COVID. We still had a great time, and knew we would return.
A little better educates this time, we came early enough to get our food, drinks, and find out seats. But more importantly, we took advantage of the sensory backpacks they offer for children with sensory receptive. I had to let them hold my ID, but in exchange we got a set of over the ear protection (and our kiddo pointed out they seemed to simulate conductive hearing loss...which I suppose is true), dark glasses, a weighted blanket and some fidget toys.
We've always struggled to make him comfortable at movies: he's either left out as one of us takes him out during intense and bright scenes, or very uncomfortable with the noise and lights. But this made ALL the difference. He enjoyed the entire movie with the blanket and headphones, and used the glasses and toys as necessary throughout the movie. What an AWESOME service. I'll be putting together our own kit, as we could use these things elsewhere...but to see a theater provide something like this was truly an amazing experience.

Read moreNot great. My family went to a showing with my hearing impaired father and they did not have any hearing headphones. The manager said to us "they are waiting for corporate to send them". This meant my father was unable to hear the movie, they did have a closed caption devise however it did not work well. You also either have to only read the small screen, or stare at the movie screen and wonder what they are saying.
In addition, there was no staff at the front to greet anyone who came in. No signage either. No staff checked our tickets, we walked right in and could have not even paid. No one would have known. No staff asked us if we needed help. There was no "restaurant" area to speak of. The manager said they are "short staffed", as a reason as to why no one who worked there was able to help with anything. They also do not have anyone to bring any food or drinks to the seating. We stood in line at the concessions stand and when we asked about salads they said we had to go to the bar to order those and any other food like the tacos.
We went to another line in the bar and waited. We then waited for a long time for our food, which only 1 person was making. The meat left much to be desired in the steak salad and steak tacos. I went back for a rootbeer float and that took 10 minutes, when no one was in line but myself.
Overall, we are not impressed by the quality, service or much of the experience.

Read moreI went with a friend to see the new Batman movie at the 8:00 pm showing, it was a terrible experience. We showed up about a half an hour before the movie and arrived to a chaotic scene, the popcorn maker was on fire and the entire building filled with smoke. It took the employees roughly 20 minutes of running around to finally open a door and let the smoke out of the building. My friend and I both got terrible headaches from smoke inhalation, and to my amazement THE FIRE ALARMS DO NOT WORK ! The entire place was filled with smoke to the point where there was smoke all around the alarm and it did not once go off. This is not a safe place to bring your family to watch a movie. I tried getting a refund online and it did not work, so I looked for a way to contact the company. I filled out their contact us card and did not get a response, if you try to call them it will not put you in touch with a person at the location.
Update, they responded to me on this review saying they were going to respond to my contact form and lied. I have gotten zero response for my refund request. I am going to report them to the Better...
