My hubs is a Camas member and I signed up as well. Hubs had enough points for a comp’d spacious room with a king size bed, 2 very comfortable armchairs large tv, car-wash type shower, lots of towels and one bathrobe- we had to call up for another. Thermostat was easy to use and the air temp was easily made comfortable. They seem to be extremely proud of their beds, but I found it a bit firmer than I like and though there was very little motion transfer, I found the mattress really heated me up. We wanted to use the pool and hot tub at 8:30 on this school night but found it overrun with about 8-10 kids so we decided to return during adult swim - after 9pm. We went down again around 9:45 and there was a child in the pool area but sitting quietly off to the side until his young adult sister and boyfriend were ready to leave, at which point the 12 yo decided to jump in the pool before actually leaving the premises. Shortly after they left, around 10:15pm, a group of 4 kids entered the pool area with no guardian accompanying them. We told them this is adult swim time and they were not to be there, to which one of them responded with entitlement because her auntie works at the hotel. Once hubs got up to go use the phone to inform of this, they left. I reported this to the associate at the counter when I checked out and he was basically- ‘that’s not my department, but I will let someone know’; I don’t feel that is a very receptive response- had he phrased it ‘I am sorry for your inconvenience and I assure you it’s not our policy to have staff allow their unattended minor family members in the pool during adult swim, and I will inform management’ would have been a more appropriate response. I hate when employees take no responsibility for customer service simply because it was their department. Other than the missing robe that was promptly brought to our room after notification and the pool incident, the employees are generally very friendly and helpful. I even had a guy repairing a door take time out to direct me to where I wanted to go! Other things: the Pan Asian restaurant is decent though a little overpriced and the Masselow restaurant’s breakfast hash seemed more like a stew than a hash; hubs had the omelet and that came with fresh fruit, hash browns and toast- it looked better than my hash. Both restaurants had great service! I would definitely come back, but I would opt for a spa service than use the pool and hot tub (there was no availability for the spa services I wanted that day). The Camas card allows accumulation of points for such things as free nights, $ awards to spend on slots and drawings for cash prizes. Wednesdays are 55+ days and there are all kinds of discounts on food and cash prize drawings on the hour...
Read moreOne of the better Hotel and Casinos that I have ever been to, now I am only 29ears old so, yea! That said, they have Beautiful Hotel rooms, with a reasonably sized bathroom, and amazing shower! The tile work and grout job could be redone, well at least in the room we stayed in! The carpet and carpet tiles are nice, many bathrooms throughout, many places to just sit and relax, many places to grab a bite to eat and/or a drink! Wonderful casino floor, with plenty of slots and tables, currently tables are limited so we haven't played them yet, but they have just started to slowly reintroduce them. Really well kept and clean property, extremely wonderful and amazing individuals. They have a kids area too for the ones who need and/or want this option! Fitness and spa! Yes, some things need to be redone/patches up! But all in all, with the amazing and astonishing workers, all of them who work inside or outside, they are all amazing and hard workers! Plus the appearance on the outside makes perfectly with the inside! If you haven't been I would suggest you at least come and try it out! If it's not you then ok, but you never know! I think everyone should at least come and try it once, if possible stay 2 nights! It's well worth it! Even extremely calm and relaxing, which is a MAJOR plus, there's no fights or drama or problems, just everyone minding thete own business and having fun! Definitely worth...
Read moreMet another couple for dinner at the falls Asian restaurant... The food was delicious and they did a good job of socially distancing tables for safety. I was glad to see that people were now required to wear masks if they were sitting at table games. But that doesn't apply to anyone playing slot machines or walking through the casino where it was a free for all of sneezing coughing vaping, cigarette smoking and the like... which all passes possible viruses amongst the entire casino. The machines were filthy dirty covered in cigarette ashes and no one around to clean them. Hand sanitizer stations were difficult to find. I just heard that several of the casino dealers caught the virus and they have not put that out to the general public... Thus requiring masks from customers at the tables. This casino is the only one in the area that is not requiring masks to protect their customers who would like to support their business. I wonder what happens when people pass the COVID virus to each other because they refuse to require masks... how are they going to run the business when there's no one there to support them? Shame on Quest for being above the law. If you're worried about your health and welfare I highly suggest that you go to Worley or the Spokane tribe casino where they have done a wonderful job of trying to keep the virus in check the best...
