1st time visiting, I ordered the spinach dip, it was SO GOOD... but halfway into eating it, I bit down on what felt like a metal staple and immediately spat my food into my hand and picked out several (3 plus) pieces of what looked like metal shavings. They stabbed the roof of my mouth and the sides of my gums. It was horribly embarrassing spitting my food out in front of several people I had just met for the first time but our waitress was amazing about it... another lady she spoke with on their team was trying to say it was burnt cheese... it 100% was NOT burnt cheese and the waitress agreed with me. The manager comp'd the meal, but for how awful the experience was, I won't be able to bring myself to come back here. I feel awful for the waitress because she was just fantastic handling the whole situation. Aside from all of that, the atmosphere was fantastic and the food (if it didn't have metal shavings in it about a half inch-inch long each) would have been amazing. 2 stars bc I'm sure it isn't a common experience but more could've been done. I would be more inclined to return had the manager offered a voucher or something for a free meal on my next visit... but I won't personally come back. I'm not trying to be a Karen that wants free stuff, I'm just saying, when you chew on metal and have cuts in your mouth even 24 hours later ... its not likely that the person will return unless they have a solid/valuable reason for returning. If I had to rate the waitress separately, I'd give...
Read moreMy first time at the casino, which I ignored, first time at the restaurant, and first time at the BECU for a concert.
First, and probably most importantly, this may be the only non-smoking restaurant/bar on site. Huge win! Therefore, there is no gambling machines.Lots of TV screens for mostly sports, good food, good service, good drinks.
We stopped in for Dinner, having already perused the various menus online. Warning: the food is a LOT! I have a bird's belly, so I probably should have ordered an appetizer instead off the Philly. And ordered the side of au jus right off the bat. It helped the flavor immensely. I could not eat it all; in fact, I could eat only half. What a shame.
My friend/daughter ordered the French Dip, which was surprisingly more flavorful. Probably the dip part helped.
Drinks were fun. I had the Tropical Trash, which included an upside down can of Redbull in it. I'll tell ya, it kept me up until 2am. She had the Mudslide Milkshake, which of course yummy. Not enough chocolate, she said.
We returned after the concert for drinks. She had the bottle of Angry Orchard, and I tried the other specialty: Bulldog Margarita. Which has the upside down Coronita in it, and it's served in a fishbowl. I don't think I got particularly tipsy off of it.
Anyway, there was no rush after the concert, and we beat the rush for dinner....
Read moreEach of the last few times we have been sat in the bar and we have encountered awful service. If you have the choice to sit outside of the bar, do it. The servers seem to be much more attentive.
Our last trip here we unfortunately were sat in the bar. Our waitress took our food order and we told her we needed a few minutes to decide on what drinks we wanted. She never came back, until giving us our final bill. Had she come back, we likely would’ve ordered multiple drinks. Guess Epic doesn’t like making more money. The restaurant was certainly not busy.
My food order arrived completely messed up. I ordered the cheeseburger tatar tot casserole off their specials menu. It arrived with ZERO hamburger on it, just tots, mustard and pickles. Not once where we checked on by our waitress, so I could not point out how my dish was missing the most obvious ingredient. When she gave us our bill she noticed I had barely eaten any of the dish. I mentioned how the hamburger was missing and she offered to have the kitchen make a new one. I had zero desire to be in the restaurant any longer due to the atrocious service, so I declined.
The standards here appeared to have dropped dramatically over the last several years. We used to enjoy coming here,...
