Today, 8-31-2023, my coworker and I went to Waterford lakes longhorn steakhouse, we have been doing this ritual for 2-1/2 yrs now. Today, we ordered our usual again, 2 outlaw ribeyes, cooked med-well+2 min, western shrimp, ceaser salads, and 2 draft beers. š. Everything was going well, 5 star across the board. You can't go wrong, OR CAN IT??!!, The beer, chilled and delicious, the shrimp perfect as can be, THEN THE MAIN DISH, A NIGHTMARE!! The steak and salad came and it looked mouth watering š at first, as we indulged in our Steaks & salad, we noticed, it was extra greasy, like oil poured over it after it was cooked, the ceaser salad was drowned in dressing to a light white color less any green color showing, as we got closer to the bone center, the steak became more and more COLDER,and MORE & MORE REDDER THAN PINK, till we hit the bone!! RAW, COLD AND BLOODY!! We called the waitress over and showed her, she told us, HE EITHER OVER COOKS IT OR UNDER COOKS IT!!, I said BRING ME THE PADDELS!! (trying to save it, lol) then she proceeded to say, I'll see what I can do. Naturally we were highly disappointed with our meal and I proceeded to call the manager!!. NOW IT GETS GOOD!!, the manager comes over after about 8min, and says, what's the matter?? We explained to him and showed him the issue. His first words are after seeing it is, WOULD YOU LIKE DESERT OR ANYTHING ELSE?? My coworker and I looked at each other and said NO!, we tried to reason with him, then he replied (like my steak above) I'LL SEE WHAT I CAN DO!!, then left. REALLY???? YOUR THE DAMN MANAGER!!!, when he came back, he acted like HE WAS DOING US A FAVOR, and said like a snotty kid, I TOOK A STEAK MEAL OFF!! Like we just insulted him personally!!, the bill was still well over $67.00, less tip.!!!! THE CONCLUSION: WHEN YOU ORDER YOUR STEAK, (and it has a bone in it) CUT CLOSEST TO THE BONE, AND SEE IF IT BLEEDS OR MOO'S, THEN SEND IT BACK. OR CUT YOUR STEAK FROM THE BONE TO THE OUTTER EDGE SO YOU CAN SEE THE ENTIRE CROSS CUT OF THE STEAK TO THE BONE, THEN DECIDE. P.s. we were there just after 3:20pm today 8-30-2023. Otherwise it's still a great place to dine-in. Thank you. MY apologies for not taking a picture, the thought...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered 5 -10oz salmon dinners and they weighed in 6.33-6.8 range which is acceptable if I ordered five 7oz salmon dinners. This is weird considering that the website says that 7oz is āunavailable at this timeā. I called the store and asked for the manger. Anthony was the manager in the night of 8 Oct 22. Once he had found out who I was he immediately requested that I talk to the GM because (this is not the first time that this has happened to us). Sometimes I donāt complain because it is draining and sometimes too much to deal with. The GM (Michael I believe) came to the phone and he remembered me just as Anthony does. I writing to say that I paid for a service and I did not get that. False advertising is not a good look. If the salmon weighed 8-9 ounces I would not complain but 6.33 is more than likely a 7oz salmon. The kicker is the GM sent me a $25 gift card. How humiliating is that? This did not sit well with me. Iām thinking of reaching out to the FloridA Attorney Generalās office because this has been going on too long to not be rectified. This is happening to others as well for at least a year that I know of. It makes me wonder has this been happening to me the whole 3 years of been a loyal customer. Is False Advertising a Crime? Yes, it is considered a crime to falsely advertise. It is illegal for a business of any type or sizeāsolopreneur, small business, large corporation, non-profitāto purposefully publish an ad that is false or contains untrue, misleading, or otherwise deceptive statements or claims. I asked the GM why did you not test these accusations to find why this keeps happening. Surely by now he should have given me an answer as to why this keeps happening. Is it not being cut right? I will start with the better business bureau first to give whom ever this may concern to contact me regarding this issue. Attorney general office will be next for false...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe lack of quality care is insane. I ordered a 12oz ribeye medium rare and was originally brought out a raw steak. I asked for it to be REMADE (a new steak) since they tend to throw the same steak on the grill (disgusting and unsanitary in my opinion) and overcook it till itās rubber. The manager I assume came out with the same plate. Same steak. Same now cold baked potato. I told her you threw the same steak on the grill, I kindly asked our waitress for it to be completely remade. She replied āYes, we threw it back on and got it up to temperature, is it perfect now?ā PERFECT? Perfect would have been what I requested in the first place. I was fed up and upset at her lack of attention and manner she was speaking to me and said yes itās fine so she could leave. I cut into my steak and immediately saw a two inch long BEARD HAIR cooked into my steak. I nearly vomited. When our waitress returned I requested her manager come back out to see the mess and she seemed to not care at all and pretended she couldnāt see the hair when she lifted my plate to check saying she needed a light. (See photos attached and you can see that long nasty hair clear as day.) Simply offered an apology and offered to either remake it or take it off the bill. No assurance it wouldnāt happen again or that she would correct the lack of quality control and unhygienic practices in the back of the house. DO NOT EAT HERE UNLESS YOU LIKE BEARD HAIRS IN YOUR FOOD. This kind of thing seems to happen a lot since within the past year during their inspection the inspector stated employees had no beard guard/restraint while in food prep. The manager removed my meal and our appetizer but still charged my partners meal so in the end we still paid for a disgusting experience and he probably ate a hair in the process without...
