If you need to shop at Victoriaâs Secret, find another location!
First, I called to see if they had an item at their store, so I can make sure it was there before I drove down there, but the lady who answered the phone said she was too busy and didnât have time to look for merchandise.
I drove to the store to exchange a pajama set for a different color. I had the receipt and all I needed to do exchange it for a different color. The pajama set was in its original packing and clearly had not been opened. One of the associates instructed me to go to the Register and exchange the pajama, but the manager that was behind the register refused to exchange it. She indicated that she was not allowed to exchange it for a different color. She said she was only allowed to exchange it for a different size. She said that If I wanted to change it to a different color, I would have to pay the difference between the price I paid for the pajamas and the current price. I did purchase the pajama set on sale, but I had the receipt and I wasnât asking to return it. I was simply asking to exchange it for a different color. The manager flat out refused and blamed the computer system for not letting her make the exchange. She put her hands In the air and said that it wasnât her, and that the system just simply would not allow her to do it due to a strict Company policy. I told her that what she was saying did not make any sense, but she Double down on her refusal to exchange the item. The other manager even argued with her a little bit and told her that It would be fine to make the exchange, but she just simply refused.
When I asked her for her name, she refused to give it to me, citing that it was company policy, not to give out their names. That was a lie or just misinformation on her end. There is no such company policy that states that employees of Victoriaâs Secret are not allowed to Share their names with their customers. I verified.
That same day, I drove to the Victoriaâs Secret at Millennia Mall, and they immediately exchanged it without any issue whatsoever. The VS chain Shares the same computer system so clearly the manager at the Waterford Lake Center was flat lying. The computer system at the Millennia store took the exchange without any issue at all And their customer service was stellar. They also told me that the manager at the Waterford Lakes store clearly did not know what she was talking about and needs to be re-educated on the company exchange policies. The manager at the Waterford Lake store either did not know her own company store policy or just simply did not want to provide good customer service⌠Or maybe both, either of which is simply embarrassing!
To be clear, I am not stating that the customer service at the store itself at Waterford Lakes was poor, because there was one young lady there who was wonderful. She absolutely knew her product and she helped me when I first got there. This review is strictly directed at the manager at Victoriaâs Secret at Waterford Lakes Who needs a lesson on Customer Service and a refresher course on her company Policy, both of which are severely lacking.
I plan to call the corporate office on Tuesday morning to make the same formal complaint. It was very aggravating to have to drive all the way to millennia mall because of this managers...
Read moreThe worst manager, so unprofessional. I went for a price adjustment ($10 off $50) coupon. I had left this coupon at home and the young lady I checked out with told me that was no problem and just bring it in the next few days with my digital receipt for a price adjustment. I came back the next day and spoke with another young girl at the checkout. The red haired manager was there checking out customers as well and was very interested in my conversation with the girl. She said âwhatâs the problem â? The young lady explained about the adjustment to which the manager told us to âread the policyâ, pointing to some hard square thing glued to the front corner of the desk. I explained that I could not read the tiny print and the cashier said there was nothing stating that I could not do the adjustment. The manager became exasperated and said âyou need to go get all of the items to return and repurchase â. I questioned this as all the item SKU numbers are clearly listed on my receipt. She basically told me to pound sand and do what she says or no adjustment. I was heated and said Iâd be back. As I turned to leave the young cashier said âhave a nice day!â in this bubblegum voice, basically mocking the situation. I replied âyeah rightâ and she proceeded to laugh at me loudly along with the manager. I did go home and retrieved my items, came back only to be questioned in a condescending fashion by the manager who snidely asked âhow can I help you?â. I had just been in there 10 minutes ago and she knew damn well why I was there. She then took pleasure telling me that she couldnât honor my 30% off one item that I had initially used on my rollerball perfume, saying âIâll do the return, but that coupon is gone and you will pay the full price nowâ. I was furious at this point. I asked for her name, she refused to provide it. She stated that is corporate policy. I grabbed my items and turned to leave and she smiled and told me to âhave a great day!â I have reached out to corporate and hopefully they will address this disgusting display of blatant customer disrespect, however, Iâm not holding my breath. I will never be back to this location and I have canceled my VS...
Read moreI came in to buy a new comfortable bra or two after I had been measured here previously and had been given the wrong size. I approached two sales associates about ongoing deals and they told me there was a 2/$58 sale on certain bra styles, as well as a $30 if you open their store credit card. I said I do not want a credit card and went to look at the sale bras. A sales associate, Miranda, then approached me and asked again about the card. I politely said no, I donât want that, over 3 times as she continuously tried to get me to sign up for this card WHILE IM ACTIVELY LOOKING AT PRODUCTS. I continued to say no, make excuses like I have bad credit, and she would not STOP. She asked if Iâd like to check to see if I was approved, and defeated I said okay. This is where my nativity was taken advantage of. Iâm a young woman, I didnât know âcheckingâ was signing up. I was approved and now have a credit card I had no intention of signing up for. She explained that there was no interest rate, no annual fees, and I could automatically pay for the now discounted bras through the card immediately and then it will cancel itself in 6 to 8 months. Feeling extremely taken advantage of, I went to try on the bras and check out only to find I have absolutely no way of accessing this card. During the initial âapplicationâ I was not asked for my address, ID, or email. I have no idea where this âcardâ is being sent too and once again was lied to as I could not pay it off immediately. The associate at the counter said I could pay it off in cash (which I was immediately prepared to do) but advised against it without having the actual card. How will I get the card? No idea! I asked for the costumer support phone number and left the store in tears. Iâm calling tomorrow, reporting Miranda for blatantly lying to me and exploiting me, and never shopping at Victoria Secret again. I advise you do NOT go to this location if you donât want to be harassed, taken advantage of, and left...
