My husband and I came here to look for new dinnerware and Christmas gifts for family, and we left feeling upset and sad. We drove 45 minutes and I was so excited to see what they had. This store is beautiful but unfortunately we felt that we were racially profiled by the older women working the store. The younger ladies were so sweet and greeted us, but as soon as we were in the back of the store looking for gifts for our family members, two older women were both staring us down the entire time. We felt so uncomfortable and felt as if they perceived we had bad intentions. One woman stood near the entrance of the stuffed animals and stared at us as if she thought we were going to steal. So unfortunate because this store was beautiful but we left because we didn’t want our money going to a business that treats any customer so rudely. Read moreWorst customer service ever! It was my moms birthday yesterday and we just had lunch in the neighborhood and decided to to stop at your lovely store. We we entered there was an old lady sitting at the front table. No hello or acknowledge we were even in the store. In fact none of the associates said anything to us. We were the only guests in the store! Not sure whom they thought they were. Sad. So many pretty things. And we wanted to purchase many things but decided if the associates weren’t willing to assist then they don’t need the business. We will be letting our dear friends and family in Helotes, Castle Hills, Fair Oaks Ranch, King William, Comfort and Boerne not to shop here. The scandal going on at the Alamo Heights High School is quite embarrassing right now. We will add this store to the list of things not appealing in San Antonio. Read moreMy initial review was a misled one!!! The owner himself sent me his number to call him to talk about what I thought was a discriminatory experience. Turns out I didn’t have the right facts. I assumed things. The folks I thought were rude and unhelpful employees turned out to be elderly customers that were busy with their own purchases. I can’t thank Charles (the owner) enough for wanting to promptly ensure that no one walked away from his establishment feeling ignored. A genuine and thoughtful and transparent business owner.
