
Beautiful place and trails. My day was marred by an incident with a person who had no control of their animal. All national parks have a law that says all pets must be on a leash or in physical control by the owner, this one was neither and started to engage me in a very aggressive manner. After a nice thud with my makeshift walking stick, the animal retreated and the owner got a severe, very profane, tongue lashing. Warning to pet owners who think the world is their personal domain: do NOT make that mistake in my airspace, you will have an injured animal, with varying degrees of physical damage.
