Perkup Espresso — Restaurant in Alaska

Been going there for their neon red bull smoothies. Yesterday I got 3. I got about 3/4 of the way to the bottom of the drink and had something in my mouth that wasn't supposed to be in the drink. Well, I'm not sure if it was tinfoil or some type of metal shards but they were in all 3 of the drinks. I called them and told them and they said to stop by and that they'd "make it right". I went there today with the drinks to show them that there was something on the bottom of the drinks. All they would do is refund my rewards card I have with them. Nonetheless, I will never go back to them with what I found. I have pictures to show and prove of whatever content was in the drinks. Whatever it was, I know it's not safe for something like that to happen. It's sad because I really did enjoy their drinks up...

Pulled into the drive through Perk Up on Potter and C St. To get a quick cool refreshing drink only to set for over 7mins while staff opted to have their lunch, gab with their friend in the vehicle in front of me about their newly shaved hair cut, and never produce a drink for said friend. I have frequented this establishment several times and this is a recurring situation where no one is making drinks or food to keep the flow of customers moving. Instead their is maybe one person making something while the other worker/ers walk around chatting. I will not return and will not recommend this location for sure. I’ve been a loyal customer of this coffee shop for a while, but my recent experience left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. I asked for my drink to be extra hot and repeated my request to ensure it was clear, as it has been an issue many times before. Instead of accommodating my request professionally, the barista rudely shoved the hot milk in my face with a thermometer, asking in a snide tone if it was “hot enough.”

This behavior, particularly from the heavier-set redheaded barista with glasses and hickies and the taller, older woman with a bob haircut, was uncalled for and really upset me. Customers deserve respect and a welcoming environment, not sarcasm and attitude. I don’t think I will ever...
