Great Alaska Pizza Company — Restaurant in Alaska

Although GAPCo is a great local chain on the whole, this location consistently frustrates and disappoints. They never fail to close an hour early, are almost always "out" of something-- especially whatever their current promotion is-- and have never answered the phone when called for delivery or pick up. (Or to complain about their practices).

I enjoy Great Alaska and have given this location (Huffman) numerous chances because it is extremely conveniently located near me. However, I will not spend my money here.

I'd rather drive cross town to the midtown (Northern Lights) location where they have excellent service or to the Jewel Lake location (also excellent service). Cannot recommend Huffman under any circumstance.

Pressed for time and unable to get delivery from the Jewel Lake location, I decided to chance Huffman one more time several months after this review was originally written. They I've again failed me, delivering two wedgies that are devoid of sauce or cheese and nearly empty of anything else. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me....

I love their pizza and they are fast when getting it ready when you call but I don’t remember a service fee whenever I used my debit card. My total was $27 and when i came into pay and pick up my pizza when I gave them my card they said $27 but didn’t include the service fee. I only noticed it because I saw the total was $29. If they had said $29 I would of ask why and I would of paid cash but they were lazy in my opinion and didn’t care. I’m also a little confused when I pay cash I don’t get the so called 3.33% cash discount which is why I went back to card. It’s so confusing and I’m irritated over it. We ordered a large pizza for dinner. when we got home, we saw that they had made it incorrectly. when we called, they offered to remake the pizza. When i drove back, they made the pizza incorrectly again. They remade the pizza a third time, and this time, it was right. The pizza was good, but their attention to detail and instructions left something to be desired. if i would make one suggestion, is that you check the pizza before you leave. lesson definitely learned.
