The Manager Jessi, I thought was rude. I tried to buy maple syrup, which their sign said 5.49 but it rang up 7.99. I went back and grabbed the number that was in front of a two foot wide shelf of maple syrup with this sign directly in the middle of this syrup display. She went back and grabbed another smaller syrup not even in the same area and said this was the item with the 5.49 tag not what I brought up. I told her exactly were it was and were I pulled it from and there is no tag for the 7.99 tag and she couldnt produce it either. Her response was...do you want if for this price, 7.99 or not! With a really rude tone in her voice...I said, no. I would like it for the price that was displayed underneath the product that I thought I was purchasing. Well that didnt happen so I will never return to this particular Grocery Outlet. I know each store is individually owned...so to the owner...get new management and train your employees with a respectfull attitude. Liked the clean, well appointed store front and entry. An associate greeted me as she worked with plants. She offered and scanned an item when I asked for a price confirmation. I keep noticing new and better products whenever I shop. Customers appeared relaxed and happy to browse. Greeted by and had pleasant conversation with several store workers. Ann is another especially plesant worker, she efeciantly takes care of her department every time I shop. Several times today I observed staff conversing w shoppers either looking for a particular item or asking for the location of the restroom.. It's especially satisfying to hear the checker announce my savings of usually close to $286.44. I'm happy to put my name and number in the monthly drawing. Purchased an item,it was listed for 3.99 in one location in the store,found the item in another location in the store listed for 2.99,went to the check stand and it rang up as 2.00.I said to the checker that can't be right,he said sure enough it's 2 bucks,so I say to him I would like to buy a bunch of them after I hook up my box freezer and will return tomorrow. I then asked him 3 times in a I row if I could purchase them for the 2 dollar price tomorrow when I return,he said yes.I returned the following day,it was the same checker,I asked if I could purchase 37 of them,they rang up as 2.99.I had him contact the owner and he would not honor the price I was promised,I left with nothing....
