I’m not sure if I caught them on a bad day or if they just didn't want to help me. Regardless, I attempted to exchange a jacket that someone bought me for my birthday this morning. The associates have a rude tone and attitude and act as if you are inconveniencing them when you need to make a return. On multiple occasions this has been my experience. You come in, say you need to make a return and as soon as you do their demeanor changes as if you are a nuisance. When making these other returns in the past, Ive watched them print out a tag and with a barcode on it when it was missing. Since I didn’t have a tag with a barcode on it today, for some reason, they decided that they no longer wanted to do that and would not allow me to return this jacket even though it still had the original brand name tag safety pinned to it. Their excuse was they didn’t have the exact same jacket for an even exchange. Well, if it’s out of stock why can’t I get store credit for something else? I’m now stuck with a jacket that doesn’t fit and the person who bought it, wasted their money. I don’t believe I will be doing business with TJMAXX anytime soon. It baffles me how they are able to do something one day and can’t do it on another day. Plus, the attitudes from the associates when you are nothing but kind to them it’s very deterring as well. Read moreWent in to get a few things I needed..and some that I didn't haha. Store was overall clean and organized. The lady at the front greeting was cleaning carts as people were putting them back. When I left there was a different girl there who looked like she could care less about being there and was not wiping down carts nor saying a word to anyone who came inside or left. The cashier that handled my transaction was Jayden and I have to say they were the most pleasant cahier I've dealt with at any TJ Maxx. Not pushy to get my to donate or sign up for their card as most cashiers are. Just asked me the usual questions and let me go...
