Eggs Up Grill — Restaurant in Albany

Been here a few times love the food and waitresses have always been very pleasent and always recommend friends and my customers from work to eat here until today when i ordered a meal consisting of french toast bacon and home fries which i asked to have cheese, onions and peppers added to my home fries. Upon receiving my single plate if food i was very excited because it looked amazing and was completely correct. So i started to eat my home fries and they tasted amazing until half way thru i found a curly black hair under the cheese which made me nauseous so i stopped eating because i felt like throwing up. So i asked the waitress to please remove the meal which i did not eat from the table and informed her about the hair and why i didnt want any of my meal and she would take care of it. I then received my bill which still had home fries on it so i asked to see the manager who proceeded to tell me that i ordered a side of home fries as well which i did not do. He said he was going to talk to the server and upon return told me i was lieing because his kitchen wears hair nets and that i did order an extra side. So he would not remove it off the bill while still calling me a liar. I will never go back do to the unprofessional actions and demeanor of the manager. I have been a restaurant manager for over 10 years and i would never speak to or act in this manner...

This Eggs Up was Eggs Down for us. And I have traveled all over and dined at many restaurants. As a nurse for 23 years, I take pride in servicing people and I expect the same from others. I was always told to treat others how you would like to be treated. Well, that wasn't the case this morning while another first responder and I decided to have breakfast here after a long 12 hour shift. The service was poor, no eye contact after the waitress got the order wrong with the tea that I ordered. She got an attitude after bringing me the wrong tea and because I wanted avocado on the side with my omelette which was not tasteful at all. We also ordered oatmeal which looked liked something you would feed the hogs with because they just threw the pecans, granola and a container of brown sugar on the top. Well, I think that's what it was .....granola. That was also so grainy and distasteful. One bite was all that she could eat from both items that she ordered. I've traveled all over the 🇺🇸 and this was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The Southern Hospitality was not here today for us. This was my 3rd visit ; the others weren't that great either but it was not this bad. One of the MOST RACIST EXPERIENCES I HAVE EVER Had! And since you responded let me tell what happened. Me and my Friend( who birthday was today) came in to the restaurant for the first time. Both of your servers stared at us for about 5 minutes until the white lady with purple hair screamed across the restaurant “ You can seat yourself”. We we a bit taken back , however we continued to find a table. All of the Booths were dirty besides one by the front door , however we saw a table in the corner (WHICH WAS RIGHT NEXT TO A SERVER) and asked her could we sit in this booth since we saw her cleaning it. She says “ you’re going to have to wait “ very rudely. We said ok we have no problem with that. Another server who was black with locks stares at us as well and says “ y’all can sit down “. The server with the purple hair says very loudly “ I told them they can sit anywhere but they want to wait “ and rolls her eyes. At this point we were very aware that we were not welcomed here. We left , however I came back in and told her how RUDELY SHE TREATED US AND SHE PROCEEDS TO SMIRK AND SAY” well sorry “ and yells across the restaurant “ See you again”.
