What a fantastic bunch of folks running this place! I'm currently on a bit of hard times (Dusty Rhodes fans anyone? Lol) and had to come in from Newport to sell cards. Gave and the rest were incredibly helpful, and saw me walking out with far more money than I would have ever expected! I also got my Runo Stormkirk in a showcase style, when they didnt even think they had it. Which speaks to excellent selection if you ask my humble, nerd opinion. I'm hoping back to move back to the Albaby area this summer. THIS is where I will be buying my Magic and Pokemon, if I return. If not, I encourage everyone in the Lebanon and Albany area to get your nerdy needs here!!!
Update as of 3/25: Thanks for the fantastic trade value today! Hope to move back to Albany to buy/trade/sell, and maybe even play some Commander!
Update as of 2/28/24: Thanks so much to the staff for their friendly service. They got me a receipt when asked, for my Twitch channel (WalkensDinersandDives), which is,an,extremely rare request for your average MtG player. Thanks so...
Read moreThis is not a business. It’s 6 guys in a backroom playing cards and one guy, who’s suppose to be the “manager” rotating in and out of a back office who’s not friendly at all. I collect Funkos. I’d like to think I’m well versed in what values are and how much they fluctuate. This place is consistently overpriced. I can check values in real time, as can they, and they do, cause no exclusives are priced. And they are ALWAYS priced astronomically higher than they’re worth. They’re also sun faded from being shelved by the front entrance, damaged and scattered haphazardly throughout the store in no particular order. I’ve been here at least twice where no one was upfront to help. I could have literally walked out the front door with merchandise. So much squandered potential. Skip it, head to Eugene. Better...
Read moreNo visible comics, likely none on site. This isn't the place to go for the "largest selection of Comics, Cards, and Collectibles" as their FB page states. It seems, based on other reviews, the same impatience exists that I remember from Matt's back in the day. If, like me, you need short boxes or other supplies, they seemed to have them at a great price. A single short box for $6 in 2024 is a good deal, in my book. While I haven't bought much in the way of collectibles, cards, or comics from Matt since about 1998, I imagine his employees will also order or direct you to the right place as long, as you know...
