Chasers Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Albany

The bartenders, Donna, Deshawn, and Faith are absolutely amazing! They love and care about evety customer as if they were a regular and their regulars as if they are a member of their family. The star rating in this review has nothing to do with the bartenders, we love them.

It is with a heavy heart however that i have to say, myself and a large group of my friends will no longer be stepping foot inside chasers due to the unprofessional, petty, and utterly disrespectful actions of the Karaoke guy.

Instead of doing his job and being professional he put his personal feelings about myself, my relationship and my friends ahead of the good of the bar. We have been regular, loyal customers and from this point forward we can no longer be patrons of an establishment that employs such a person. Over the years I have watched his interactions with patrons and have been appalled, but the petty attitude tonight was the the final straw.

As someone who has been loyal to chasers for years it breaks my heart that we can no longer feel safe, and included in a place that once felt lile a second home. I am thoroughly dissapointed in the leadership of the bar for allowing someone of this nature continue to be...

I absolutely respect and admire the young couple who own this bar and grill. However, I was wrongly accused by one of the lead bartenders of being indecent to her as she was walking away from my table to fulfill my order for my lady friend and I. It wasn't until a year later that I found out that this was being circulated at the bar amongst her friends about me. At that time I was 86'd when I attempted to talk to the young owner about this to get things straightened out. I just tried to talk to the owner again tonight and was hung up on by (apparently) this same bartender-manager. I was interested in getting things straightened out between this couple, who know nothing about what happened at that time between this bartender and myself in the presence of my lady friend and myself. She can verify all that I have gone through with this individual. Until that time that I can be allowed to talk to this couple owners I cannot give this establishment more than a single star as I do not want the same thing to happen to other couples as happened to us at this...

This was a failed second attempt! The first time here was not so good but this time I ordered wings. Well let’s just say the outside looked amazing but inside was another story. They were so raw I’m surprised they didn’t fly away. I took them back and talked to the bar tender I believe his name is Deshaun, any way seriously rude. He is a very large African American who tries to use his size for intimidation. I actually witnessed him assault a female patron last time I was there. Anyway he was rude wouldn’t give me another order. So I decided to finish up my drink and then use the rest room. What really topped it off was when I went in the restroom the bartender Deshaun and the guy running karaoke were in there making out. Needless to say didn’t know I was at a gay bar.
